PomodoroBar is a distraction-free Pomodoro timer designed for macOS. It lives entirely in your menu bar, so it’s always there when you need it and never gets in your way. No Dock icon. No floating windows. Just a quick click to start, pause, or check your remaining time.
Work your way
* Choose your own work and break lengths.
* Follow your progress with a subtle timer ring in the menu bar.
* Get a notification (and optional sound) when it’s time for a break or to get back to work.
Focus mode
PomodoroBar can make sure your timer reflects the time you actually spend working.
* Select the apps that count as productive. If you switch away from them, the timer pauses automatically.
* For Safari, you can be even more specific by choosing which websites count as work. Browse somewhere else, and the timer pauses until you’re back.
Quick controls
* Start or pause the timer from anywhere with a global keyboard shortcut.
* Launch automatically when you log in so it’s always ready when you sit down.
Track your progress
See how much focused work you’ve completed over the day or week with simple built-in statistics.
Privacy first
PomodoroBar keeps everything on your Mac. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no cloud services.
If you enable Safari website filtering, the app briefly checks the address of your active Safari tab to determine whether it matches one of your chosen work sites. That information is never stored or sent anywhere.
