Per-destination proxy router

Proxy Switchboard routes your traffic per destination: each website, IP range, or app can take a different proxy — or none at all. No more switching your whole Mac on and off a VPN just to reach one service. HOW IT WORKS Add your proxy servers, write a few routing rules, and connect. Traffic that matches a rule goes through the proxy you chose; everything else goes direct, at full speed. First match wins, and you can reorder rules any time. PROXY TYPES - SOCKS5 and HTTP/HTTPS - SSH (use any server you can ssh into — keys and ssh-agent supported) - WireGuard (userspace, no extra software) - Shadowsocks - Tor - A blocking sink, to simply refuse chosen destinations RULES THAT FIT REAL LIFE - Match hostnames (api.example.com), wildcard domains (*.example.com), or IP ranges in CIDR notation (10.0.0.0/24) - Per-app rules: send one app through a proxy, leave the rest alone - Exclusion list for destinations that must always connect directly - Import curated hostname sets for popular services in one click - Test Route tells you where a hostname would go — and why BUILT FOR MACOS - System-wide routing through Network Extension: protects every app, including those that ignore proxy settings - Per-app traffic statistics, live - Proxy latency testing, subscriptions (ss:// lists), and QR sharing to move a proxy to your phone - Secrets live in the Keychain, not in config files - Your traffic is never decrypted, logged, or sent anywhere: rules are evaluated on-device, and connections go straight from your Mac to your own proxies FREE AND PRO The free version includes everything, with up to 2 proxies and 10 rules. A one-time Pro purchase unlocks unlimited proxies and rules. No subscriptions, no accounts. Proxy Switchboard does not provide proxy servers — bring your own (a VPS, a home server, a commercial provider, or anything you can ssh into).

Fixes connection problems around proxies and WireGuard tunnels. The checks macOS makes to decide whether it has internet now always go direct, so a proxy that stalls for a few seconds no longer makes the Mac look offline. Failed name lookups inside a WireGuard tunnel no longer stack up on each other, which could stall apps for a minute or more, and an old tunnel is now shut down properly when it is rebuilt after a network change.
