TapCat is an iPhone and iPad game for cats: a bright, high-contrast pet toy with laser dots, a buzzing bee, a climbing mouse, a sneaky spider, and wriggly worms to chase and pounce on. Every toy is painted in the blues, violets and yellows cats see best.
Set your phone down, tap the paw, and let your cat hunt moving targets on a clean black screen. TapCat keeps the hunting area simple so curious paws can focus on the chase, with lively movement, sudden pauses, and satisfying haptic feedback when a target is caught.
PLAY WITH BRIGHT TOYS
- Dashing Dot: the classic red laser-pointer chase, free forever.
- Zippy Zap Dot: a high-visibility green laser-style target for feline eyes.
- Buzzy Bee: zips around, lands on flowers and buzzes in your hand. Catch it and it crawls off dazed.
- Mischief Mouse: scurries between boxes, climbs on top and dives through a crinkly tunnel. Pin it and it squeaks.
- Sneaky Spider: scuttles, freezes, and hides under the blanket as a suspicious moving lump.
- Wiggly Worm and Jumbo Wriggler: fuzzy wriggling targets built for long, irresistible chases.
MEET YOUR KITTY
Welcome your cat with their name, boy or girl, and a photo, and they greet you on the home screen. Got a few cats? Add them all and pick who is playing. Sign in with Apple if you like, and your kitties come back on a new phone.
SCRATCHPOST
Share a photo of your hunter and send it for review. Approved photos appear in ScratchPost, where TapCat players can browse feline hunters, send a wee like and leave a comment.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
TapCat Everything unlocks every toy and removes adverts. The day pass lasts 24 hours and doesn't renew. Weekly, monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, and you can manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. New subscribers get a 3-day free trial on the yearly plan.

New for Halloween: Spooky Patch and Pumpkin Pop! Catch a spider or a jack-o'-lantern and its ghost flies off, moaning, to the haunted house on the hill, where the door slams shut behind it. A witch flies past the moon, spiders hide in a coffin, and there's a carved-pumpkin Halloween icon (switch back any time in Settings).
Livelier toys: lasers that streak, loop and blink with up to three chasing at once, worms that laze about then shoot off, quicker spiders, mice and bees, a mouse you can hear scratching, a bee you can hear buzzing, and "pss pss pss" calls to get your cat's attention. Every toy now counts your cat's catches.
