New: today’s reveal, right on your home and lock screen. Add the Unveiled widget and see what a verse meant in the Hebrew and Greek, every morning.
Read the Bible in the language its first hearers knew.
Most of us read Scripture in English. The English is good, but it compresses a wider, older world of meaning. Unveiled opens that world back up to the average person without a vast knowledge of Biblical languages. Tap any significant word in a verse and see the original Hebrew or Greek behind it: what it actually means, how often it appears in Scripture, and every place it's used, so you can trace a word across the whole Bible for yourself.
What makes Unveiled different: you can check it.
Your faith deserves transparency. So Unveiled is built to be verifiable, not taken on trust:
Scripture is the real Berean Standard Bible and the King James Version, both public domain. Never paraphrased, never AI-written.
Word studies are grounded in recognized references: Strong's, Brown-Driver-Briggs, and Thayer's. So you can look up any claim yourself.
We're open about our method. A published methodology page lays out exactly how it's built and how to report an error.
What you can do:
Word studies across all of Scripture — Tap a word to reveal its meaning, root, and every occurrence in the Bible. See how "agape" or "shalom" is really used, verse by verse.
Two translations — Read in the Berean Standard Bible or the King James Version.
What the text actually says — Common misconceptions gently corrected, with the original-language and cultural context English readers miss.
Who first heard it — Understand the people, place, and world behind each passage.
A daily reveal — One verse each day that isn't what most people think it is, with original artwork made for it.
Illustrated passages — Hundreds of illustrations throughout Scripture, grounded in Ancient Near Eastern and first-century detail rather than European painting.
Biblical Atlas — Explore hundreds of real biblical locations on an interactive map.
Quiet, and honest about cost.
No ads. No pop-ups pulling you out of Scripture. Just the text and the tools.
Start reading free. A number of chapters are open to everyone, and Unveiled Premium unlocks unlimited study for $4.99/month or $49.99/year. More translations are on the way.
Scripture quotations are from the Holy Bible, Berean Standard Bible (BSB), public domain, and the King James Version (KJV), public domain in the United States.

I love getting to know the word in depth and in context. This app is exactly what you want if you are looking to deepen your knowledge of the original texts. The map view is my favorite.
Love the App!

This app is really such a great tool for Bible study. My only complaint would be the small font and the inability to change the font size. I hope that is incorporated soon! Great work!
Developer Response
Thank you, this is exactly the feedback that moved it to the top of the list. Adjustable text size is live now in version 2.0.1. You will find it under Settings, with four sizes, and it applies to the Hebrew and Greek as well so the vowel pointing stays readable at every size. There is a light mode in there too. Thanks for taking the time to write, and for using Unveiled.
Today’s reveal, right on your home screen. Add the new Unveiled widget in four sizes, including your lock screen, and see each morning’s reveal without opening the app.
Also in this update:
• A new loading animation while your study is written
• One clean search bar on Home and Books
• Clearer daily reveal images in light mode
• Polish and fixes throughout
