Balagh: Khutbah Translation
Live khutbah, in your language
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New in 1.1: subtitles over any app, translated videos, and shared rooms where everyone next to you reads along in their own language.
The Friday khutbah, finally in your language.
Balagh listens to the khutbah live and translates it for you, word for word, right from your seat. No setup at the masjid, no special equipment. Just point your phone toward the khatib and start.
UNDERSTAND EVERY WORD
Live captions appear on your screen as the imam speaks. Follow the sermon in real time instead of guessing or waiting for a summary afterwards.
HEAR IT IN YOUR EARPHONES
Prefer listening? Turn on spoken audio and hear the translation quietly through your earphones while the khutbah continues.
EVERY VERSE, TRACED TO THE MUSHAF
When the khatib recites from the Qur'an, Balagh recognizes the verse and links it back to the mushaf, so you always know exactly what is being recited.
KEEP EVERY KHUTBAH
Every session is saved to your History automatically. Reread the full transcript later, search it, and share it with family and friends.
SHARE THE ROOM
Show your room's QR code during a session. People next to you scan it and follow the translation on their own phone, in the browser, without an account. With Pro, each of them picks their language, up to 4 per session.
BEYOND THE MASJID
Other apps: watching a lecture, a livestream or a video call? Balagh shows live subtitles floating over any app on your phone.
Media files: choose a recording or video from your phone and get the full translation, then save it as a video with subtitles.
MANY LANGUAGES
Translate into 35 languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Urdu, Indonesian, Bengali, Persian and Swahili. Arabic is the default, and you can choose another spoken language too. With Pro, translate into up to 4 languages in the same session.
SIMPLE PLANS
Balagh Plus: 100 minutes of live translation per month, one language per session, saved history.
Balagh Pro: 150 minutes per month and up to 4 languages per session. The plan for families, friend groups and travel groups: one person pays, everyone reads.
