Doble Nueve: Latin Dominoes
Double-nine 2v2, live voice
Only for iPhone
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
La Copa del Patio: a 2v2 knockout tournament with prizes and titles. Your match now waits for you on Home and you play it in one tap, without waiting on anyone.
Doble Nueve is Latin dominoes the way it's played on the block: double-nine, 2v2 partners, and your crew's voices live at the table.
LIVE VOICE
Talk to your partner and your rivals as you play. The rings around each avatar light up when someone's talking. Too loud? Mute your mic with one tap.
PLAY LIKE THE BARRIO
• Double-nine dominoes (55 tiles, 10 per player)
• 2v2 partners, first team to 100
• Capicúa (+25), tranque and pollona
• Highest double opens the first hand; after that, winner leads
LA COPA DEL PATIO
A 2v2 knockout tournament that runs on its own schedule. Sign up alone and get paired by ELO; empty spots fill with bot pairs, so the bracket always runs. Quarterfinals, Semis and Final, with a deadline each round. Champions take 800 coins and the "Campeón del Patio" title — and tournament matches never touch your ELO or your coins.
PRIVATE TABLES
Create a table, share the DN-#### code and let your crew join. Empty seats fill with bots — you never wait to play.
5 LEVELS OF BOTS
From Easy to Grandmaster, to practice or to grind. Higher levels count tiles, block ends and set up their partner — the Grandmaster thinks several moves ahead.
YOUR PROGRESS
Climb the ELO, earn coins and unlock tile skins (Classic Bone, Marble Noir, Ebony & Gold, Neon Glass). Your profile follows you across devices.
DOBLE NUEVE ORO (OPTIONAL)
Go gold with a membership: exclusive tile and table skins, a monthly coin stipend and a golden profile. Purely cosmetic — coins only buy looks, never an edge.
No real-money gambling. Just dominoes, Latin spice and good vibes.
See you at the table!

more THE TABLE ANSWERS RIGHT AWAY
If you tapped a tile when it was not your turn, the table went quiet: the tap travelled to the server, the server rejected it, and nobody told you anything.
• Now it says "Wait your turn" straight away, without going to the server.
• You can still tap the tiles whenever you like: that is how you know the table hears you.
LA COPA REFRESHES ON ITS OWN
• The Copa tab refreshes while you have it open. When your match goes live, it shows up without you having to leave and come back.

THE LEADERBOARD NOW READS LIKE A LEAGUE
The leaderboard used to be a still list: you moved up or down and never noticed. Now every player shows whether they gained or lost spots over the last 24 hours, and the top three carry it too.
• A green or red arrow with the spots they moved. No movement, nothing drawn.
• The victory screen finally tells you when you DROPPED a spot. Before, it only knew how to congratulate you.
INVITING SOMEONE TO YOUR TABLE IS ONE TAP
Until now, inviting meant memorizing a code, heading to WhatsApp, and having the other person type it by hand. Almost every table died right there.
• Sharing your table now sends a link. Whoever gets it taps and takes a seat, no typing.
• No app yet? The link takes them to install it, with the code still in plain sight.
DEFEND YOUR SPOT
• In the top 20 and 15 days without a game that moves your ELO? You lose 15 points.
• We warn you a day ahead so you have time.
• Practice and tables with friends do not count: play Partners, Duel or Blitz against the bots.
• With Doble Nueve Oro the window is 30 days.

LA COPA NOW HAS A WAITING ROOM
The problem was never the players, it was the order of things. Until now the bracket was drawn first and then you waited to see who showed up — waiting on a partner who had no idea you were waiting. Nine out of ten matches ended without being played.
• At start time, a window opens for a few minutes for you to confirm you are here.
• The bracket is drawn ONLY with whoever confirmed. Nobody waits on anybody, because everyone just confirmed.
• While you decide you can see how many people have confirmed, so you know you are not alone.
• If not enough people show up, La Copa is canceled and the next one runs the following week. No more brackets of machines only.
WHO THE CHAMPION IS
• The Copa tab now shows the pair that won the last one. And while nobody has won, it says exactly that: the throne is empty.
FIND YOURSELF ON THE LEADERBOARD
• "See my spot" button: takes you straight to your position instead of making you scroll to find yourself.
4.7.0 5d ago
URGENT FIX
• The Doble Nueve Oro screen closed the app as soon as it opened. It happened from every entry point, so there was no way to see the subscription at all.
Nothing else changes in this release.
4.6.2 6d ago
FIXES
• Winning on a private table played the golden celebration with "+3 ELO", and then the leaderboard hadn't changed. Those matches have never moved the leaderboard — playing against a person is neutral on purpose — so the problem was the celebration promising points that didn't exist. You now get the right celebration, and it doesn't promise anything you won't receive.
• The "See leaderboard" button on that screen went nowhere when you came from a private table or a Copa match. It works now.
• Winning a match could be counted twice: double coins and, in some cases, ELO where there shouldn't be any. This is fixed on the server too, so it no longer happens even if you don't update.
• Copa matches no longer touch your ELO or your coins. The tournament is its own competition and pays out when it ends; paying per match was never the idea.
UNDER THE HOOD
This release starts measuring which screens get used, where people get stuck and what they leave half-done. No names, no emails, nothing that identifies you — just counts and screens.
That sounds small and it's the opposite. Until today we fixed things on a hunch; from now on we know what to fix first, and you'll feel that in the next few releases.
4.6.1 Aug 27
LA COPA, NO VOICE FOR NOW
Voice is off on tournament tables. The bracket pairs you with people you don't know and there's no live moderation yet — only mute, report and block, which all act once the bad moment has already happened. We'd rather turn the mic off than leave you alone with it open.
• The Copa now tells you BEFORE you enter your match, instead of you tapping the mic, getting nothing, and assuming the app is broken.
• Private tables are NOT affected: there you play with whoever you invite, and that's the whole difference.
• The switch lives on the server, so when moderation exists we can turn voice back on without you updating the app.
UNDER THE HOOD
This release is mostly work you can't see: the app can now measure which screens get used, where people get stuck and what they leave half-done. No names, no emails, nothing that identifies you — just counts and screens.
That sounds small and it's the opposite: until today we fixed things on a hunch. From now on we know what to fix first, and you'll feel that in the next few releases.

WINNING A MATCH FINALLY FEELS LIKE IT
Closing out a match felt the same as winning any single hand: the same banner, with two words swapped. Not anymore.
• If the match counts toward the leaderboard, you get a golden celebration with the final score, what you earned, and WHERE YOU LANDED, plus a button straight to the leaderboard.
• If it doesn't count, the table itself celebrates: it shakes, a wave of light runs along the chain and your side lights up, without covering the game you just won.
• Tap anywhere to skip it. And if you have "reduce motion" on, you get the calm version.
YOU CAN SEE WHAT YOU EARNED
ELO and coins were applied silently after you left the table: you'd win and never know. Now they're shown, and credited when the match ends — closing the app on the victory screen no longer costs you them.
PICK HOW YOU PLAY
QUICK PLAY always sat you at a 2v2 Partners table, and 1v1 only showed up if you went looking for it. Now it's your call.
• Tapping QUICK PLAY lets you choose between 2v2 Partners and 1v1 Head to Head, with the table drawn out so you can see at a glance who sits where.
• You're asked once: after that the button starts your mode straight away, and you can switch any time with the button next to it.
INVITE YOUR PEOPLE
• Invite button on the private table: share it on WhatsApp or wherever you like, instead of copying the code by hand.
LA COPA, WITH A FIXED DATE
• One tournament a week: every Sunday at 8 PM, with the date visible days ahead.
• If not enough people sign up, the tournament is canceled and the next one runs the following week. No more brackets of machines only.

YOUR ACCOUNT, YOUR PROGRESS
Playing as a guest is convenient, but that account is lost when you change phones — and with it your ELO, your coins and your titles. Now you can save it in one tap.
• Sign in with Apple or Google. No password, no confirmation email.
• If you were playing as a guest, your account is NOT replaced: it's saved as is. You keep your ELO, coins, titles and stats.
• Home lets you know when you're playing as a guest, and after a win it offers to save it — which is exactly when you have something to lose.
• Your email now shows in your Profile, under your name.
Creating an account is still optional: you can keep playing as a guest as long as you like.
PRIVATE TABLE, FIXED
• Tiles showed up for a second and vanished, and the match froze with no way to play or leave. It now starts and stays alive.
• The same problem kept emotes from ever reaching the other device. They travel to the table now.
• Losing a private table cost you points. Matches against another person don't move the ranking: fixed, and anyone who was charged has been refunded.
MORE FIXES
• Notices no longer get lost: if you had more than one, some were marked as read without ever being shown.
• If your email was unconfirmed, Settings hid "Create account" and offered to sign out, leaving you with no way back in.
• Switching accounts on the same phone no longer carries over the previous name.
4.4.0 Aug 22
FIXES
• Signing in as a guest now signs out of your account first: guest matches no longer mix with your real account or move your ELO.
• Private tables: the match only starts once another person joins with your code and everyone taps "Ready". Empty seats still fill with bots, and Copa del Patio matches are unchanged.
• Fairer ELO: abandoning a match that never started no longer costs you points, and a dead battery is no longer punished as if you closed the app to escape.
4.2.1 Aug 18
PICK UP THE MATCH YOU LEFT
• If the app closes mid-match — it crashes, you swipe it away, your battery dies — we ask whether you want to pick up where you left off when you reopen it. You come back to the same position: the same tiles, the same chain and the same score.
• If the match was against other people or a Copa match, Home shows "Back to your table" at the top and you're one tap away. Coming back also stops you from counting as absent.
QUITTING NO LONGER PUNISHES PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T QUIT
• A dead battery used to cost the same as closing the app to dodge a loss. Now you're offered a way back.
• Coming back doesn't forgive the loss: you resume the same position and, if you were behind, you still lose the points when it ends. What you can't do anymore is escape by closing the app. Each match can be resumed once.
4.2.0 Aug 17
LA COPA DEL PATIO, ACTUALLY PLAYABLE
• Your match now waits for you on Home. It used to live only in the Copa tab and was easy to miss: now it shows up at the top and you're one tap away.
• You no longer depend on whoever joined the table first. If they left, the match stayed stuck waiting for them until the deadline ran out and both sides were marked absent. Now anyone in the match can start it.
• In the first round your partner and rivals are bots, so you can play your match on your own, without coordinating with anyone.
THE TABLE
• The turn clock no longer gets stuck: it used to hit zero and the game kept going, and playing a tile didn't restart it. The server now keeps the time, so it's also correct when you come back to the app.
• Your tile shows up on the table when you play it. If you placed it on the left end, it appeared after everyone else's.
• If another player started the game, you could be left staring at the waiting room while it was played without you.
4.1.1 Aug 15
• Quitting a ranked match now counts as a loss. If you close the app mid-game the result still applies: we'll tell you when you come back, and show how many points you lost. It's the same amount you'd have lost by playing it out, so against a much stronger opponent it may be just one or two. Practice and Solo are still free to leave, as always.
• The leaderboard no longer stops at rank 100. If you ranked below that, you didn't show up anywhere — even after playing your matches. Now the list keeps loading as you scroll, all the way to the last player. Same for the Pairs board.
• The Gran Maestro plays much better in 2v2 Pairs. It was thinking with less information than it needed in that mode, and it showed.
4.0.1 Aug 14
LA COPA DEL PATIO — the tournament is here.
• Sign up on your own and the system pairs you by ELO. Knockout bracket: Quarterfinals, Semis, Final. Empty spots fill with bot pairs, so the Cup always runs.
• Every round has a deadline. Play in time or your match is decided by walkover.
• Champions take 800 coins and the "Campeón del Patio" title. The biggest shutout earns "Zapatero".
• Tournament matches never touch your ELO or your coins — it's a separate competition.
• You get a reminder when the Cup starts and before your match deadline.
PRESTIGE TITLES
Wear a title next to your name, or switch back to your ELO rank. Repeats stack with a counter, and your profile now tracks Cups won.
RANKING, REBUILT
The top three move up to a podium with crown, flag and cups, and the list starts at 4th. There's a Pairs board now too, and every row shows the title and cups of the player.
NEW NAVIGATION
Home · Cup · Ranking · Collection · Profile, with all five labeled. Settings moved into a gear inside Profile, and the trophy now belongs to the Cup.
ALSO IN THIS VERSION
• The table stays put: tiles already on the board no longer shift when a new one lands.
• You can now see an opponent's "KNOCK · pass" online, just like the "blocked" notice.
• Bots no longer drop all their tiles at once online — they play one at a time.
• The app is fully localized: English and Spanish.
See you at the table.
