Meet Sm’ores: ten minutes of small chores, shared with the family. New to Sm’ores? The name is short for "small chores." A Sm’ore is a quick ten-minute round where everyone who is home takes a job, like emptying the dishwasher, folding towels or watering the herbs. Pick who is helping, and everyone works through their own chore on the same clock. It works just as well on your own. Deal the chores Starting a Sm’ore plays like a card game. Tap Shuffle the chores and Tindy deals everyone a card. Pass the phone around and let each person flip their own to see their job. Not a fit? Re-roll for a different chore, tap Pick instead to choose one, or deal one more card to someone who wants extra. Make them yours Manage home, in Settings, keeps your rooms, your family and your Sm’ores in one place. Rename a chore, switch it off, choose who can get it, or add your own. Easy to start Tap Want Sm’ore? on Home any time of day, use the Sm’ore tab on the timer, or say yes when Tindy offers one after a Lightning Tidy. Every finished Sm’ore ends with confetti and shows on your calendar, so you can see the days the whole family pitched in. A warmer Tindy The whole app has a new look: soft cream, navy and coral, with a matching dark mode for evenings and a new app icon. Sm’ores: "small chores", ten minutes, shared with the family. There is a new way to tidy. A Sm’ore is ten minutes of small chores you can hand out. Pick who is helping, give each person a job or let Tindy choose one at random, and everyone works through their own list on the same clock. Start one from the Sm’ore tab on the timer, or right after a Lightning Tidy when you have a little more in you. Make the chores yours Manage home, in Settings, now keeps your rooms, your family and your Sm’ores in one place. Rename a chore, switch it off, choose who can get it, or add your own. Your family list starts with “Me”, so a Sm’ore works even when it is just you. Your why, close at hand My Why now lives in Settings, so you can read it or change it whenever what matters to you shifts. Also in this version - The alert that your tidy time is up now reaches a locked phone, even if you never turned on reminders. If notifications are off, Tindy asks once when you start a tidy. - Tapping a calendar day with a tidy you didn’t photograph now shows that tidy instead of a blank screen. - Plus fixes and polish.

Your timer has your back! Put your phone down and keep going. When your Lightning or Mighty Tidy is up, Tindy now sends you a notification, even if the app is in the background. Just make sure notifications are on. Added five more minutes to finish the job? Once your tidy time is up, Finish now lets you wrap up and celebrate whenever you are ready, so you never have to wait out the extra. Every tidy shows on your calendar. A Mighty Tidy on a day it wasn't planned now shows up on your calendar. Did a Lightning Tidy that day too? The two circles nest together so you can see both at a glance.

Lightning Tidies, Mighty Tidies and items sent on their way each have their own ladder now. They start at your very first one and run all the way out to 365, spaced so there is always a next one in sight. They count what you have done, not days in a row, so a week away from the app never moves a milestone back out of reach. If you are already past one, it unlocks the next time you tidy. Also in this version - Fixes to Apple and Google sign-ins. - The promo code box no longer hides behind the keyboard. - Clearer wording on the welcome screen about what a Lightning Tidy is and what Say bye does.
