The to-do list for things you can't do yourself. Track every reply, delivery and approval you're owed — and get nudged at exactly the right moment to chase it.
Your to-do list tracks what YOU need to do. Waiting On tracks everything you're waiting for from OTHER people — the unanswered email, the promised document, the refund that hasn't arrived, the approval stuck on someone's desk.
These are the tasks that silently slip through the cracks. You can't do them yourself, so they never make your task list. Waiting On gives them a home in your menu bar and makes sure nothing you're owed is ever forgotten.
HOW IT WORKS
Add an item in seconds: what you're waiting for, who owes it, and when to follow up. Waiting On sits quietly in your menu bar until a follow-up comes due — then the overdue count appears on the icon and a notification reminds you it's time to chase.
BUILT FOR POLITE PERSISTENCE
• Follow up now / Waiting — a clear view of what needs chasing today
• One-click copy of a ready-to-send, polite follow-up message
• "I nudged them" — records the chase and schedules the next reminder
• Nudge counter — see at a glance how many times you've had to ask
• Snooze by a day, three days, or a week
STAY IN CONTROL
• Complete items when they arrive; restore them from History if they bounce back
• Full History of everything you've ever chased, with completion dates
• Export every item — current and completed — to CSV for your records
• Launch at login, custom default follow-up interval, optional sounds
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Waiting On collects no data. Nothing leaves your Mac — no account, no cloud, no analytics, no network access at all. Your list of who owes you what stays yours.
WHO IT'S FOR
Freelancers chasing invoices and client feedback. Managers who delegate and need to follow through. Anyone dealing with suppliers, agencies, landlords, insurers or support desks. If part of your job is waiting on other people, Waiting On is the missing half of your task list.
One-time purchase. No subscription.
Waiting On is a menu bar app — after launch, look for the hourglass icon at the top right of your screen.
