・Side by side on iPhone Duo Unfold your iPhone Duo and hold it sideways: the list of places sits on the left and the map on the right, so the list no longer covers the map. Closed, and on every other iPhone, the app looks exactly as before.

・Pasted map links get the name and address right The name field sometimes came back holding the whole address, and the address could be off by a few house numbers. The name now comes from the map listing itself, and the address comes straight from the link rather than being worked back from the coordinates. Still worth a look before you send — the name is whatever the place registered on the map, and some are long.

・Paste a map link When you add or correct a place, share it from Google Maps or Apple Maps and paste the link — the coordinates, address and name come in with it, so you don't have to hunt for the exact spot on the map yourself. Links shared from the Google Maps app work too.

・Search for a place Type a place name or address and the map goes there. Handy before a trip — see what's around before you arrive. ・Home screen widget The nearest few places and how far away they are, without opening the app. Tap one to jump straight to it on the map. ・The map stays where you put it Locating used to pull the map back to you, interrupting whatever you were looking at. If you've already moved somewhere else, it now leaves you alone.

LANGUAGES OTHER THAN CHINESE AND ENGLISH NOW FALL BACK TO ENGLISH Until now, a device set to any language HerbMeet does not translate fell back to Traditional Chinese — a Japanese or Korean user opened the app to a fully Chinese interface. It now falls back to English. English is otherwise unchanged apart from two labels: the membership section in Settings, and the wording of the "edit" proposal type. The location permission prompt and the home-screen name follow the device language as well — 哈波蜜 on a Chinese device, HerbMeet everywhere else. The name has always existed in both forms; neither is a translation of the other. Restaurant names and addresses stay exactly as contributors entered them. They are the signs you read on the street.

MULTI-SELECT VEGETARIAN TAGS A restaurant is no longer limited to one category. Vegan, ovo, lacto, contains-allium and also-serves-meat can all apply at once — a buffet serving vegan and ovo dishes can now say so, instead of being filed under whichever single category fit least badly. Existing listings were converted automatically: fully vegetarian → Vegan ovo-lacto → Ovo-vegetarian + Lacto-vegetarian allium-vegetarian → Vegan + Contains allium serves meat too → Also serves meat If a place looks wrong, you can propose a correction as before, and other people vote on it. ENGLISH INTERFACE The interface now follows your system language, so this app is no longer Chinese-only. Restaurant names and addresses stay in Chinese — that is field data copied from the shop sign, and translating it would make the place harder to find on the street.
