My Functions is an interactive gallery of 200 mathematical functions, from the most elementary (the constant) to the most dizzying (Weierstrass, Cantor, Fresnel, 3D torus knots…).
Each card shows:
The mathematical formula
The family name (trigonometric, wavelets, neural activations, 3D curves, probability distributions…)
The name of the discoverer and their date, when known
A dynamic, interactive graph
INTERACT WITH THE CURVE
Adjust parameters (a, b, c, n…) with sliders: the graph updates in real time. Pinch to zoom, drag to pan, the Home button reframes. A log-Y toggle switches to logarithmic scale for distributions and exponentials.
DERIVATIVE, INTEGRAL, PROPERTIES
For explicit functions, three chips activate:
f'(x) — numerical derivative overlaid in green
∫ f — cumulative integral in orange
Properties — domain, range, parity, zeros, extrema and boundary limits, computed live
LISTEN TO FUNCTIONS
Every curve can be "sonified": its shape becomes a wavetable played at 220 Hz, and its FM and AM modulation follow the curve scanned across time. A mathematical chirp becomes an acoustic chirp, a gaussian becomes a bell, Cornu's spiral sings. Pin a second function and hear two simultaneous voices, separated by a perfect fifth, to compare curves by ear.
COMPARE, PIN, SHARE
Pin a function: its curve appears as a purple ghost on every other card. Export any card as a high-resolution PNG or a vector PDF — share via AirDrop, Photos, Files, Mail.
