I had a flawless Android app for my IOUs, but couldn’t find one on iOS that didn’t sacrifice a ton of features behind a subscription paywall. This app also has a subscription, BUT there are two reasons I chose this over all the rest. One, it’s still usable in the free version. You’re not missing out on much aside from data backup with Pro. Two, IT’S A ONE-TIME PURCHASE! No subscriptions! Love the app? Pay $7 and you own it for life, cross-platform also. All that’s missing is a Home Screen widget!

Owe Book now speaks your language — 17 of them. Pick yours in Settings and the whole app switches over instantly, no restart. WIDGETS Keep your net position and what's due soon on the Home Screen, Lock Screen or StandBy — and log an entry with one tap. MAKE IT YOURS Choose Light, Dark or System appearance inside the app. And there's a new icon: the split tally, the notched stick two people once cut in half so each kept their side of a debt. PRO, YOUR WAY Pro is now a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time purchase that never renews — the same features whichever you pick: group bill-splitting, the Face ID / Touch ID lock, CSV statement export, and your choice of home currency.
