Turn idle Ollama capacity into profit running grid jobs. Register your Mac, choose which models to share, and track jobs completed, and status live from the menu bar.
LLM Grid Worker turns any Mac running Ollama into a node on the LLM-on-Demand distributed inference grid. Register with your API key, choose which local models to share, and the app long-polls for inference jobs, runs them through your local Ollama install, and reports results back — all without ever writing a prompt or a result to disk.
• Live Dashboard: worker status, Ollama connectivity, uptime, jobs completed/failed, tokens generated, pending grid jobs with an estimated time to clear them, and a per-model job history. • Menu bar status: online/offline at a glance, job count badge, one-click online/offline toggle (or pause/resume, if you've set a schedule). • Fine-grained control: exclude specific local models from the grid, cap how many distinct models load into memory at once with a sortable priority order, opt in/out of same-family model matching, cap concurrent jobs, cap Ollama's context window. • Runs quietly in the background: optional launch-at-login, optional "prevent sleep while online" so long-running jobs and the heartbeat aren't interrupted, automatic pausing on battery power or thermal pressure, and an optional daily working-hours schedule. • Privacy-first by design: no prompt or result is ever persisted to disk; the only network destinations are your configured gateway and your local Ollama endpoint (crash reporting is available but off by default).
Requires a free Ollama installation (ollama.com) with at least one local model, and an API key from your LLM-on-Demand account.
