Combine a focus bracket into one image that is sharp from front to back. Reads camera RAW, DNG and 16-bit TIFF. Free 30-day trial with every feature unlocked. Get every detail in focus. StackLab combines a series of photos taken at different focus distances into a single image that is sharp from front to back, the depth of field that no single shot can capture. It is built for macro, product, still-life and landscape photography, and for any subject where one frame simply isn't enough. You shoot a focus bracket; StackLab aligns the frames, picks the sharpest detail from each, and blends them into one clean, fully sharp result, ready to finish in your usual editor. Features • Focus stacking that just works. Load a focus bracket and render a front-to-back sharp image in a few clicks. • Works from your real files. StackLab reads camera RAW, DNG and 16-bit TIFF with its built-in decoder, no extra downloads needed. If Adobe DNG Converter is installed on your Mac, StackLab can use it for reference-grade colour. • Choose how it blends. Several stacking methods let you pick the result that best suits your subject, from contrast-based to depth-map stacking. • Clean edges, automatically. Frames are aligned and corrected for focus breathing (the slight change in magnification as a lens refocuses), so detail lines up instead of doubling. • Remove ghosts. The deghosting pass removes subjects that moved between frames. • Fix the last few percent by hand. A retouch brush lets you clone-stamp away any remaining halo or artifact, exactly where you want it. • Fits your workflow. The optional Adobe Lightroom Classic plug-in sends a focus bracket straight from Lightroom and brings the stacked result back into your catalog. • Flexible output. Export DNG to keep editing in Adobe Camera Raw or Lightroom, or 16-bit TIFF. • Fast and scalable. Multi-core and able to process stacks larger than your computer's memory. StackLab runs entirely on your own Mac. It needs no internet connection and collects no data; your photos never leave your device. Start with a free 30-day trial with every feature unlocked. To keep rendering and exporting after the trial, unlock the full version with a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID, renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your App Store account settings. Large stacks render much faster and use far less memory. Fixes StackLab closing when a project was saved after retouching. Cameras that need the Adobe DNG Converter, such as the Sony a7 V, now load correctly.
