A card statement is money you owe, not money you have spent. Importing one used to drop your available balance for purchases you had not paid for yet. Now they are recorded against the card, your balance is left alone, and the minimum and total due are filled in for you. Statement import has also moved onto the home screen, and backing out of Google sign-in no longer looks like something went wrong.

Spend in your own currency • 47 currencies to choose from, up from 6 — find yours by name instead of guessing at a code. • Amounts now carry the right number of decimals for each currency. Yen and won show none, Kuwaiti dinar shows three, and the decimals you type are no longer dropped. • Dollar currencies are labelled clearly — C$, A$, NZ$, HK$, S$ — so it's obvious which one you've picked. • New accounts now start in your device's regional currency. • Lakh and crore formatting now applies to Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan and Nepali rupees as well as Indian.
