Starting fresh? An empty journal now offers to bring in your Swarm or Foursquare history, so the places you've been are there from day one. Also in this update: • With App lock on, your journal stays out of search and Siri, and widgets show nothing until you unlock Nowhere. • Open a place from an Ask Cap answer, and the answer is still there when you come back. • Ask Cap, Siri and search now name a visit's neighborhood the same way your journal does. • Choosing a past day now takes the map to that day's places, even when no route was recorded, as with imported history. • Larger text sizes now reach the Today button and the quick journal's page. • Turning off Place suggestions also clears places still waiting to be suggested. • The Cap sheet and The Brief now say when Apple Intelligence wrote them. • iCloud sync is steadier when the same item arrives twice.

The places you stop at wait in your journal for you to confirm or swap, and suggestions never send a notification. • Text grows to the largest sizes on more screens, and VoiceOver reads each row once. • App lock now covers the whole app, including anything left open, until you unlock it.
