The app now tells you when a photo can't be evaluated and gives you tips to take a better one, without using up a free analysis. You can also rate whether each diagnosis was correct, and declare your crop stage when creating a field. Improved growing-degree-day calculations.

You can now create a field directly with its planting date, no photo required first, and pick your field from a list instead of retyping its name. We recalibrated growth stage timing (added "Planted" as its own stage before emergence) for more accurate GDD tracking. Also added a "How does it work?" help screen.

You can now delete a field directly from the home screen, and the exported PDF includes variety, zone, country, growth stage and accumulated growing-degree-days.

New: Weed identification. Take a photo of a weed found in your field and get its species, with an explanation of whether it competes with your potato crop or hosts shared pests/diseases (no herbicide recommendations — always consult your local agronomist for product choice).

PapaDX now remembers each field. Tell the chat what you applied — "I applied X in field 2" — and it's automatically recognized and logged, no forms needed. The AI chat now knows each field's growth stage, accumulated growing-degree-days, recent weather alerts, and the last photo diagnosis — so it can give you much more informed advice, and even ask if a previously detected pest or disease was successfully controlled. New "Applications" screen to review and manage everything you've logged per field.

This update makes the crop-cycle estimate smarter using real weather data (growing-degree-days) instead of just calendar days, and shows it right on the home screen — including how your field's pace compares to a normal year. You can now also delete diagnoses or alerts, or reset a field's data if needed. Plus a refreshed, cleaner home screen design.

This update fixes a bug that prevented the open chat feature from working correctly in Hindi and Portuguese, and adds full Hindi and Portuguese support to the App Store listing.

This update adds optional context fields to tailor diagnoses to your field: variety, country/region, growth stage, irrigation type, previous crop, and recent weather. Recommendations now include a clear urgency level (Act now / Plan this week / Monitor / No treatment needed) plus prevention tips for next time. The AI chat can now also help identify soil compaction issues. Bug fixes and improvements to diagnostic accuracy.

New feature: chat with the AI to refine ambiguous diagnoses using extra field context (recent frost, wind damage, herbicide drift from nearby fields, residual herbicide in the soil). Available for PapaDX Pro users.
