Chord display • Customize side and top/bottom margins when the chord display is not centered. • Choose from 24 new fonts and font weights from Light to Heavy. • Exported videos preserve the chord position, margins, font and weight shown on screen. Windows and panels • Floating panels respond to the first click. The space bar starts and stops playback even when a panel is in front. • Panels no longer move with the main window. They stay above Medussa and remain visible when you switch to another app. • A new option in Settings > Global lets you bring panels back to Medussa's screen or keep them on the screen where you placed them. Instrument • Octave and Tune now transpose MIDI notes, so each note triggers its corresponding sample instead of changing another sample's pitch. A4 continues to adjust the instrument's fine tuning. Piano roll • Velocity indicators move with notes as you drag them. • Hold Shift while dragging to constrain movement to one axis. • Click an empty area of the note grid to move the playhead to that position. Visualizer and video • Glow and particle highlights scale consistently across export resolutions, including 4K. • The chord display editor previews changes to color, font, size and shadow as you make them. • Recording with the vertical camera frame no longer causes lag, and the frame stays fixed during recording. • The camera frame's "keys" label is now centered. Fixes • The camera frame's "Follow the music automatically (beta)" option can be enabled again. • Importing a MIDI file preserves the existing audio track in the Visualizer and Editor. It replaces the MIDI content and clears previous recordings, chords and key information. • Changing particle colors no longer changes water wave colors. • Choosing a floor image from your Mac no longer freezes Settings. • The MIDI source list refreshes automatically when you open Settings.
