TrailDash: Appalachian Trail
Offline Hiking Map & Topo GPS
Free · In‑App Purchases
Download the whole Appalachian Trail before you leave home, then hike all day in airplane mode. Shelters, water sources, privies and resupply, right on the map.
Carry the Appalachian Trail in your pocket with TrailDash, an offline-first companion built for days when cell service disappears.
OFFLINE TRAIL MAPS
Explore the A.T. with topo detail, contours, trail routing, shelters, campsites, water, services, and elevation context designed to remain useful off-grid.
PLAN AND TRACK
Record a hike with local-first breadcrumbs, distance, pace, elevation, and calories. View the elevation profile ahead and save important trail context before you lose service.
KNOW WHAT IS AHEAD
Browse waypoint details, nearby trail services, weather, high-elevation conditions, community reports, trail registers, and GPS-verified passport stamps.
STAY CONNECTED YOUR WAY
Join trail-wide and regional community rooms, private conversations, and nearby campfire chat. Optional TrailDash V3 LoRa hardware can pair over Bluetooth for field communication beyond ordinary cellular coverage. TrailDash does not replace emergency services or a satellite communicator.
APPLE WATCH COMPANION
Start and monitor hikes, glance at an offline trail trace, check elevation, read chat, and view alerts from your wrist.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Maps and core offline data live on your device. Location sharing is opt-in, and account deletion is available inside the app. No ads and no cross-app tracking.
SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
TrailDash requires an active TrailDash Pass auto-renewable subscription (annual or monthly) to unlock and use the app after account setup. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; it renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
