PUM Lite is a digital journal designed for solo roleplaying and creative storytelling. Whether you are journaling a custom campaign, playing D&D by yourself, or using the built-in Plot Unfolding Machine ruleset, PUM Lite is your perfect mobile companion.
The Plot Unfolding Machine (PUM) enables you to play tabletop Role Playing Games by yourself, for creative writing, world building, and solo storytelling. Create immersive adventures on the fly using your imagination, a structured plot framework to guide your pacing, and a set of random prompts (oracles) that provide an endless source of inspiration.

PUM Lite includes built-in digital tools for the Plot Unfolding Machine (PUM) solo engine. No preparation required—just roll, write, and play! Whenever you need a twist, a scene idea, or a Yes/No answer, use the Oracles or the Plot Beat buttons to let PUM drive your story forward:
- Random prompts: Get instant scene hooks that automatically pull in your active characters, locations, and world elements.
- Modify proposals: Propose your scene idea and let PUM add a random twist (like "Make the location less favorable") to keep your game unpredictable.

- Curated Plot Tracks: Pace your adventure using curated tracks (Standard, Dungeon, Journey, Heroic, Survival, and more) to guide your story to a climax.
- Active Plot Nodes: Track World Elements, Potential Problems, Useful Findings, and Pending Questions. Mark them as Plot Nodes so PUM can actively invoke them during play.
- Custom Random Tables: Create simple and weighted random tables, or import community tables.
- PDF Export: Export your complete campaign log as a beautifully formatted PDF.
