TWO NEW WAYS TO PLAY, closer to the classic game that inspired Space Race. Turn either on — or both — in Settings ▸ Advanced play. PRECISION APPROACH — Land on exactly 1,000 light-years. A jump that would overshoot can't be played at all, so save your short hops for the touchdown. NAVIGATOR'S LEDGER — Only distance cards move your ship. Safeties and Slingshots bank points instead, tallied at the end of the round with bonuses for a clean trip, a shutout, and more. Also: opening the rules no longer ends your game in progress.

Version 1.2 is a polish pass across the whole table: - Slingshot cinematics now play for both pilots - dodge a hazard or watch your rival dodge yours, with the full clip chain either way. - Tractor Beam finally shows its cost: the beam card wears a small amber ≤50 tag while it caps your jumps, until you cut it loose. - A cleaner table: refined settings and journal icons, mascots retired, and card labels can auto-hide once you know the deck. - New Round now asks before discarding a race in progress, and scry peeks can no longer misfire a draw. - Fixes: video takeovers show a clean still in Low Power Mode, and a card no longer sticks mid-air after a low-battery suspend.

The Slingshot takes the spotlight: pull off the perfect last-second dodge and a full-screen cinematic plays it out. And when your rival dodges YOU, you'll watch the same moment unfold — in red. Also in this update: • A cleaner, more elegant table. • New options: auto-draw when the discard pile is empty, and card labels that retire once you know the deck. • Restarting mid-game now asks first — no more accidental resets. • The same cinematic quality in about half the download size.
