Index plays: learn the Illustrious 18 Basic strategy assumes a neutral deck. Index plays are the hands where the true count changes the right move, like standing on 16 against a 10 or taking insurance. The new Index Plays trainer in Counting covers all 18, plus the Fab 4 surrenders: • Learn: every play in order of value, with its index • Drill: 10 plays with the index hidden, graded and saved • Fab 4: the four surrender plays, for tables with late surrender Indices follow your house rules, including games where the dealer hits soft 17. A clear path for card counting Counting now opens on a six-step path: learn the Hi-Lo values, tag the cards, keep the running count, convert to the true count, bet with the count, then index plays. Your progress so far is already filled in. A better start New to blackjack? Play your first three hands with the coach beside you. Already know basic strategy? Take the 3-hand challenge and see where the chart and the count disagree. Also in this update • The Coach's Deviations lesson is rewritten and links straight to the drill • Home suggests index plays once you're betting with the count • Coach lessons opened from another tab now take you back there • Tag the cards: the table and buttons stay put when the answer appears

A cleaner way to play your hands. • New action bar: Hit, Stand, Double, Split and Surrender now sit in one row with icons, at The Table and in Training, styled to match your theme. • Coach says: in Coached mode, a line above the buttons shows the recommended play and the count, and the coach's pick lights up in gold. • Auto-stand on 21: The Table now stands for you when your hand reaches 21. • Training: the table stays the same size when your result appears, so cards and labels never crowd or overlap. Fixes • Hard 11 against a dealer Ace now correctly says Double when the dealer hits soft 17 (the default house rule) and in one- or two-deck games. • Stats on the home screen and in Counting now display at full size. • Polish to buttons and spacing at The Table.

More of Coach 21 is now free. • The full basic strategy chart: hard totals, soft hands and pairs, for any number of decks • Training: drill hard totals, soft hands or pairs on their own, and practice single-deck or multi-deck • The Table: pick your decks, table minimum and buy-in New on the home screen: when your table play needs work, Coach 21 points you to a Coached session, so you can see the right move every hand before going Solo. Plus small fixes and polish.
