There is no browsing, no search, no public profiles, and no swiping. Instead, every family and every caregiver goes through the same thoughtful process — because trust has to go both ways. HOW TUNNEL WORKS 1. Apply Every family and every caregiver applies with a short, structured application. No public profile is created. 2. Interview A real conversation with our team. We're not matching résumés to requirements; we're matching families to families. 3. Playdate Before anyone signs anything, the children meet. Two hours, both families present. If the kids click, everything else follows. 4. Introduction & Agreement We formally introduce you and provide the Co-Mom Agreement — a clear, fair framework covering everything from schedules to sick days, so nothing is left to awkward guesswork. WHY FAMILIES JOIN • Every application is read by a human — never ranked by an algorithm • Caregivers are interviewed and vetted before any introduction is made • Introductions are thoughtful and made one at a time • A clear agreement framework, so expectations are set from day one WHY CAREGIVERS JOIN • You are welcomed as a professional — and as a person • Many of our caregivers are mothers themselves, and families in our network are open to a caregiver bringing her own child • No bidding, no gig-app churn — real, lasting relationships with families who share your values THE CO-MOM DIFFERENCE Tunnel was built around a simple idea: the best childcare doesn't feel like a service. Many caregivers are moms too. When a family welcomes a caregiver's child, the children grow up alongside trusted companions — and the relationship becomes something closer to family. MEMBERSHIP Tunnel is currently welcoming founding families and caregivers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Applying is free.
