Kerf: Board Foot Calculator
Hardwood & lumber cost quote
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Price the whole cart before you commit. Board foot math with waste, tax, and kerf in one running total, straight from the keypad, no signal needed.
Kerf is the board foot calculator you keep in your pocket at the lumber rack. Punch in width, thickness, and length, and it turns them into a lumber cost quote for the whole cart before you commit.
Built as a carpentry calculator for real shop work, not a spreadsheet.
- Board foot math with 4/4 notation and fractions down to a thirty-second of an inch
- A running haul total with waste, tax, and kerf figured in
- Group many boards into one named job or cut list
- Flip between board feet and metric in a tap
- Send a job out as text, CSV, or PDF
It opens straight to the keypad and keeps working with no signal in the back of the yard.
