A quick crossword break in English or Korean. Your progress saves as you go, and every correct word in a row scores higher.
MoonWord is a classic crossword: read the clues and fill in the words across and down. Pick English or Korean puzzles and solve one whenever you have a few minutes.
One stage at a time
Each language has 200 stages. Early puzzles use a handful of everyday words, and as you climb the grid grows, the word count rises and the vocabulary gets harder. English clues come from a WordNet-based dictionary; Korean clues combine our own definitions with the National Institute of Korean Language's Urimalsaem dictionary.
Every letter you enter is saved. Leave in the middle of a puzzle and you'll pick up right where you stopped.
Build a streak
Each correct word in a row is worth more than the last, and a wrong answer resets the streak. As your streak grows, combo effects go from Good to Great, Excellent, Amazing and Legendary. See where you rank on the daily, weekly, monthly and all-time leaderboards; your own rank shows even if you're outside the top 100.
Stuck? Use a hint
Spend gems to reveal one, two or three random squares, or pick the exact square you want. Spin the prize wheel for more gems: you get a free spin every hour and can save up to two. When they're used up, watch an ad for another spin, up to 20 times a day.
Play as a guest
Start right away without signing up. Create a username and password to continue on another device. If you delete the app while playing as a guest, your progress can't be recovered.
Set the menu language and puzzle language separately, and turn music and sound effects on or off in Settings.
Ads and purchases
• Banner ads appear at the bottom of the screen, and a full-screen ad shows every four stages.
• Gem packs are available in the shop.
• Ad Removal subscription: removes banner and full-screen ads.
• Premium subscription: removes banner and full-screen ads, plus 500 gems when you subscribe and 100 gems on each day you log in. Gems for days you don't log in aren't added later.
An internet connection is required to play.

• Ad Removal and Premium: each a 1-month auto-renewing subscription
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
