A small update with one request. • Gramps2 now asks for a rating only once you've settled in — never in your first session, and never while another screen is in the way. • Finished importing a GEDCOM file? That's the moment your whole tree appears, and the app may ask what you think right there. • New on the tree list: an "Enjoying Gramps2?" card that takes you straight to writing a review. Keep in touch with the living branches. • Contact details: give anyone an email, phone number, and address. Each one shows when it was last updated, so a ten-year-old address reads as ten years old. • Import from Contacts: fill those details from your address book in one tap. Add to Contacts does the reverse — name, birthday, photo, and details onto a new or existing contact. • Contact details also travel along in Copy Summary. • Fixed: on iOS 18 the app could quit right after launch. Relationships, tidied up. • Copy Summary: from a person's More menu, copy their whole family record — names, dates, places, parents, partners, children — and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI assistant to have it research the family for you. • Remove a partner: swipe a partner on someone's page to end the relationship. They stay in the tree, and any children stay with you. • Birthdays of those who passed away now also show the age they reached — "would have turned 80 · died at 72" — in the events list, notifications, widgets, and on Apple Watch. • Fixed: "Remove as Parent" did nothing on iOS 26. Blended families, done right. You can now add a child to one parent only. Stepchildren stay linked to their own parent and appear in a separate "Stepchildren" list on the stepparent's page — visible on the tree, but never mixed in with someone's own children. When adding a child, simply choose the partner they belong to, or "Only" the one parent. Added someone to the couple by mistake?
