Welcome to Wrong Way, a modern, minimalist adaptation of the classic abstract strategy game Quoridor. Stripped of unnecessary clutter, this version delivers a hyper-focused, tactile tabletop experience designed to test your spatial reasoning, forward-planning, and survival instincts.
The rules are beautifully simple, but the tactical possibilities are infinite.
HOW TO PLAY
Your objective is straightforward: guide your pawn to the opposite side of the board before your opponent reaches theirs. On every single turn, you face a critical strategic choice:
Advance: Step your pawn forward, backward, or sideways into an open space.
Block: Drop a wall onto the grid to disrupt your opponent’s path, create complex detours, or shield your own approach.
The catch? You can never completely wall an opponent in - there must always remain at least one valid path to their finish line.
GAME MODES
Play vs Bot: Face off against an adaptive AI engine. As you close in on victory, the bot enters an aggressive survival mode, calculating deep path differentials to drop devastating barriers right in your path.
Pass & Play: Challenge a friend face-to-face on a single device for a pure, local multiplayer tabletop duel.

Great to play with kids

I had fun trying this one out with my kids. It teaches them how to anticipate the move and play. I found this after seeing an ad in insta.

Resetting Time

Fun game, but their biggest flaw is you can keep resetting the clock. Had a sore loser beat and they kept resetting the clock for over 30 minutes. They finally just left the game. Make it so you can’t reset it and if they just leave the game, they can’t play for a certain amount of time.
