Reciting a passage now keeps up with you. The page scrolls on its own so the line you are reading stays in the middle of the screen, and a hidden word shows itself as soon as you say it. The line that stands in for a hidden word is thinner and lighter, and sits right under the word it replaces. The walkthrough has arrows now, so you can go back to a step you passed or move ahead, and it covers hiding several words at once and looking at what you have hidden. Small fixes and refinements.

Verses uses a new font. Prayers, headings, and the writings all share it, and more of a prayer fits on the screen at whichever text size you have chosen. Hiding words works one way now. When you hide a word, a line takes its place. Tap any word to hide it, and tap the line to show the word again. Tap the eye next to the microphone to show every hidden word for as long as you want to look. There is a new button next to the microphone. Tap it to hide a few of the words on the screen at random, so you do not have to choose them yourself. Hold the button to pick how many go at a time: 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10. The thin bar on the left of a prayer fades out while you read, and comes back when you scroll. The library keeps the prayers you are memorizing at the top, with the archived ones below them. Moving through a prayer is now a swipe. Pull up past the end of a section to go on, down past the top to go back. A slim bar down the left edge shows how far you've come, and tapping it jumps you anywhere in the passage. The prayer fills the whole screen. The microphone and its buttons float above the words instead of taking a strip at the bottom. An eye beside the microphone brings your hidden words back for a moment, then lets them go. You can also recite aloud at any time, whether or not any words are hidden. Your library counts the prayers you've memorized beside the days you've kept going, and a prayer with no title takes its name from its opening words. Prayers you've finished can be archived: swipe one in your library to tuck it into an Archived section, and swipe again to bring it back. Reciting is less strict about order now, and the record of what the app heard has its own row in Settings. Saved writings have been retired — browsing now goes straight to the writings themselves. Verses now opens on the nine-pointed star from the app icon, which fades away and hands off to your library. The app icon itself has been redrawn, with the star fading more gently across the face. Small fixes and refinements.

Ruhi is now all eight books. Where there was only Book 1, there are 249 quotations — every passage the courses ask you to memorize, through to The Covenant of Bahá'u'lláh. Reciting aloud is far more accurate. Words are marked as you speak rather than all at once at the end, and a word the app mishears no longer counts against you. You can also recite only the words you've hidden and leave the rest unsaid. The welcome tour now starts you on a Hidden Word and shows you how to move between a passage's sections. An empty library offers a way straight into the writings, along with small fixes and refinements.

When you recite aloud, the passage now follows you — the page scrolls to keep the word you're on in view, from the moment you press record. If a word you said gets counted as missed, there's now a Report Issue screen in Settings and in the session menu. It sends what the app heard alongside your note, so it can be fixed. Long passages scroll and respond more smoothly, along with small fixes and refinements.

Achievements now go by the kind of prayer rather than one particular prayer — memorize any morning prayer, any healing prayer, any prayer for the Fast, and it counts. Settings has a new Send feedback row for writing in from inside the app, and a link to the privacy policy at the foot. The welcome tour now points you to the achievements before it finishes.
