FOR WALKERS
Turn your love of dogs into flexible work. Get verified, accept walk requests near you, track your walks, and build a reputation through owner reviews.
iPet launches with dog walking across Armenia, with more pet-care services on the way.
Booking takes a deposit in the app; the rest of the price is paid directly between owners and walkers. The app is available in Armenian and Russian.
more • New Pets tab: your pet's health in one tap. Today shows the most urgent thing with Mark done or Remind tomorrow, and what is coming up. Health shows each topic, from vaccinations to documents, with a clear status. History is one timeline by month.
• One Add button for something that happened or something to remember. A record can remind you about the next dose.
• A tip shows how to add home-screen widgets.
• Providers: confirm from time to time that you still take bookings.
1.0.45 Oct 9
• New: home-screen widgets. Add "Next care" to see your pet's next vaccination or reminder at a glance (with an overdue badge), or "My pet" for its photo, age, weight, Passport status and upcoming reminders.
• Tapping a Passport hint now opens the exact question that is still missing, so it is easy to complete.
1.0.44 Oct 7
• Fixed: if you signed up as a walker and are on the "Set up your profile" steps, you can now switch to owner mode right from the first step to book care for your own pet. Previously signing out and back in returned you to the same setup screen.
1.0.42 Oct 6
• Walker list now shows prices: each walker's price per walk, right on the card.
• Filters are on the list itself — availability, verified, rating, distance, walk type and language — and apply as you tap. The list opens with verified walkers, 3 km and one-time walks selected.
• Clearer pickup address: add the street, building and entrance; the app tells you when the pin is not saved yet and shows exactly what the walker will see.
• New "Contact us" screen: call us or write on WhatsApp or Telegram (041 014 944).
• New "Suggest an improvement" screen to send your ideas to the team.
• The booking button no longer repeats the walker's name, so the price always fits.
1.0.41 Oct 5
• Crop photos before uploading: pet and profile photos are square, cover photos widescreen. Documents upload as they are.
• Keep up to 5 photos of your pet: a new Photos row and photo strip on the pet's page.
• Your booking is no longer lost when you sign in or add a pet — you return to it. The confirm button now opens whatever is missing (pet, time or pickup), and the walk time can be changed.
• Pet meet-ups: browse all of a pet's photos and see what your pets have in common.
• The app icon counter now matches your unread notifications and clears once you have read them.
1.0.40 Oct 5
Fixed the Book button in the Armenian interface: the provider's name sat next to the price, and with a long name it was the price that got cut off. The name is gone — it is already written directly above the button, and the price is not shown anywhere else.
In the Russian interface the button already looked this way, so nothing changes there.
1.0.38 Oct 3
Add to your bag before you sign in.
You can now browse the shop, pick a size and fill your bag as a visitor. The bag keeps what you put in it and you only sign in at checkout — and you land back on your bag, not at the start. The subtotal is an estimate until then.
Links shared from Facebook and Instagram now open the product, shop page or profile they point to, instead of the home screen.
Adding a pet while booking asks for species and name only. Photo, breed and age are optional.
1.0.37 Sep 28
Vet clinics, rebuilt around one question: can I go there now?
Every clinic now shows whether it is open and when it closes, its district, all its phone numbers, its website and the care it offers. Search by name, street or service, filter by type of care, and call without leaving the list. A clinic reachable at night is shown at the top.
A clinic that publishes no hours now says so, instead of looking closed.
1.0.36 Sep 27
Find Friends is now open. Publish your pet's page and meet other pets nearby for playdates — you choose what is shown, and you can turn the page off at any time.
Vet clinic opening hours and the call button were corrected, a pet saved once can no longer be saved twice, and the emergency contact number now accepts any format you type.
1.0.35 Sep 26
Opening a pet reminder, a shortcut from the home screen or "set your service area" no longer takes over the Profile tab. Back returns where it should, and Profile shows your profile again.
Saving a new pet twice in a row no longer creates a second copy of the same animal.
The emergency contact number now carries the +374 prefix, accepts any format you type, and says what went wrong instead of "try again".
Vet clinic opening hours no longer wrap, and the call button shows its icon.
1.0.34 Sep 26
Tapping a notification now opens the exact screen it is about — the booking, the chat, the walk, the pet's reminder — instead of just opening the app. This affected every notification, in every state.
Links to iPet now open in the app. A link to a walker, a shop item, a pet or a booking, shared in a message or opened from the web, lands on that page instead of the browser.
1.0.33 Sep 20
Paying for a shop order is clearer. When you close the payment page, the order now tells you we are checking your payment with the bank and holds the Pay button until we know — instead of leaving it live while the payment was already being confirmed. If we cannot reach the bank, it says so, and your order stays safe.
Fixed a card on the provider profile whose text and arrow sat hard against the edges.
1.0.32 Sep 17
You can now message a caregiver before they accept. Add your question when you send the request, they reply, and only then confirm.
Ratings no longer mislead: you see the real score, and nothing at all for someone not yet rated.
Home shows every caregiver, "See all" opens exactly that many, and a caregiver's photo no longer goes missing.
Pet health: corrected dates and tidier records.
1.0.30 Sep 16
Sitters no longer look unbookable. A day-care or boarding profile showed "no free days this month" while the booking screen offered every date — the calendar now matches what you can actually book.
Pet Passport: attach medical documents and photos to a record, open them again later, and edit records and reminders you have already saved.
Searching for walkers no longer offers a cat filter, which could only ever return nothing. The map button no longer covers the last provider in the list.
1.0.28 Sep 15
Your pet's everyday care now has a home.
Keep health records, vaccination dates, weight history and reminders in the Pet Passport. Adding a first pet is faster: species and name are enough; complete the rest later.
Profiles now clearly block booking when a service price is unavailable. We also fixed a navigation loop: after opening a pet from Home and going back, the Profile tab now opens your profile normally. Notification taps and sign-in recovery are more reliable.
1.0.27 Sep 14
Groundwork release.
Nothing changes on screen in this version. It prepares the app for a new service — a sitter who comes to your home — which stays switched off until it is ready.
Along the way: the app now handles service types it does not yet recognise instead of failing on them, so later additions can arrive without another update.
1.0.25 Sep 11
Two fixes.
On Android the sign-in sheet no longer sits behind the keyboard — you can see the phone number as you type it.
In the Academy, lessons are numbered from 1 rather than 0, the reader shows one heading instead of two, and marking a lesson as read now opens the next one instead of closing the reader.
1.0.24 Sep 10
The bag now shows how much more you need to add to get free delivery, and tells you when it is unlocked — instead of leaving you to find out by crossing the threshold.
Fixed the Armenian wording for the amount due: the bag and checkout now label it as the total, not the subtotal.
1.0.22 Sep 8
Providers could not finish identity verification: tapping the selfie step turned it red straight away, with no camera and no request for permission, so verification could never be started. The app now asks for camera access properly, and tells you what to do if you have blocked it.
Provider cards in the browse rows no longer show empty grey boxes where photos would go.
1.0.21 Sep 6
Signing in is clearer, and providers can now use iPet as pet owners too.
• Sign in or sign up — one door. The sign-in screen no longer sounds like you must already have an account. If you are new, your account is created automatically when you confirm the code.
• Already a provider? You can now use iPet as a pet owner as well, straight from your Profile. One tap, and you can book care for your own pet — then switch back to provider mode whenever you like. Your provider profile and verification status are untouched.
1.0.20 Sep 5
Two changes in one update: becoming a provider from your own profile, and choosing how you use iPet when you create an account.
BECOMING A PROVIDER FROM YOUR PROFILE
If you signed up as a Pet owner and later decide you want to work with iPet, Profile then Work with iPet now upgrades your account on the spot. That button used to open an email to us and leave you waiting on a reply. Now you switch into provider mode straight away and go on to choose your services, the area you work in and your prices.
Verification is unchanged: you confirm your identity and submit a photo of yourself for manual review before any owner can book you.
CHOOSING YOUR ROLE AT SIGN-UP
Creating an account now asks whether you are a Pet owner or a Provider, right after you enter your code. Owners come to find verified care nearby; providers come to work on their own schedule. Until now a provider had to write to us to be set up by hand — they can sign themselves up.
A provider gives a name at sign-up, because that name is what owners see when they browse and book. Pet owners can still skip the name and add it later from their profile. Choosing Provider still puts you in front of our team: a provider confirms their identity and submits a photo of themselves for manual review before anyone can book them.
THREE SERVICES, OFFERED EQUALLY
Setting up as a provider now presents Walking, Boarding and Day-sitting as three equal choices in one list. Boarding and day-sitting used to sit below walking as extras; they are peers now, and the step no longer introduces iPet as a dog-walking marketplace. Offer any one of them, or all three.
1.0.19 Sep 4
Staying signed in, plus the groundwork from the version before this one.
STAYING SIGNED IN
You should no longer be signed out unexpectedly while using the app. Sessions were ending far sooner than intended — sometimes after only a few minutes of use — and an expiring session could sign you out on every device at once. Signing in now keeps you signed in.
ALSO INCLUDED
The previous version was not released, so this one also carries its change: the part of the app that lets us adjust which identity documents a walker is asked to provide, without requiring another update from you. Walkers still confirm their identity before they can be booked, and still submit a photo of themselves for our team to review by hand.
1.0.17 Sep 2
This release is a round of fixes from a full test pass.
WALKING
A walk report opens again when the GPS signal was interrupted during the walk; before, the report failed to load at all. A dropped signal also stops adding distance the walker never covered — implausible jumps are now excluded both from the distance shown while the walk is running and from the one stored in the finished report.
PETS
A cat's indoor and special-needs details are kept when the pet is added, instead of being quietly dropped. A cat's page no longer shows a dog's species label.
MESSAGES
The message box stays above the keyboard, so Send is reachable while you type, and a message you send appears once instead of twice.
PHOTOS
Adding a photo works again — profile picture, portfolio, pet documents, verification documents. Uploads were failing for most photos taken from the iPhone library, and a picked photo could be dropped with no message at all.
ELSEWHERE
The system permission prompts for location, camera, photos and notifications now appear in Armenian and Russian rather than English. A walker's public profile says completed walks, which is what the number counts. Four labels VoiceOver read out in English are translated. "Work with iPet" now opens an email to our team instead of leading nowhere.
1.0.15 Aug 31
New: after you pay a deposit, the booking opens a “What happens next” screen. It names your provider, gives you one tap to message them, and lays out what has to happen before the service starts — including the meet and greet, which a stay cannot begin without. It states the money plainly too: the deposit is iPet’s commission, and the balance is paid directly to your provider, in person. Providers see the same screen written from their side.
Verification: documents you have already uploaded now show a preview instead of an empty row, and the selfie step opens the camera.
Sign-in: entering your code could show an error even when the sign-in had actually worked.
1.0.12 Aug 27
Notifications now arrive on iPhone. If you never got a notification when a walker or sitter accepted your booking, or when a message came in, that is fixed — it affected iPhone only.
After you pay a deposit, the booking now shows that your payment is being confirmed instead of still offering a Pay button, so the same deposit cannot be paid twice.
The meet-and-greet screen now speaks to the right person: pet owners were being shown wording written for the provider.
1.0.8 Aug 26
• New Pets tab: your pet's health in one tap.
