What's new: - Set up my Selv: a short guided setup for your name, sensitivities, preferences and favorite brands. Every step is optional. - Favorites: tap the heart on any product, then filter to just your favorites. - Request a product from inside the app. Signed in, it comes straight to us. Signed out, it opens an email. - Clean Beauty, Sustainable and Reef Safe now follow each brand's own words on its own site. Improved: - Morning and evening wording everywhere. - Calmer screens: long notes fold away, and the Skin Score chart now lives in Profile. - Add buttons open the add sheet right away, and sheets swipe down to close. - More products have a store button, including the brand's own site when it isn't on Amazon. - Sunscreens and acne treatments link only to listings sold by Amazon or the brand itself. Bug fixes (the less exciting stuff): - Dates now show the right day in your time zone. - Your own evening moisturizer now counts for the night step. - Brand names no longer autocorrect. Olay stays Olay. - Restoring the demo keeps your own preferences. - Plus smaller fixes, and a quick check before anything you can't undo.

Selv now looks at your whole day. • Routine Check compares your morning and evening routines together, including any oral acne medication you log. • The skin quiz checks its suggestions against the products you already use. • Products that work morning or evening go in one routine, with the reason shown. • Tap the restock badge to see what's running low, mark it refilled, or hide it until your next bottle. • Set how much is left with a slider. • Fragrance, sulfate and essential oil sensitivities recognise many more products. Paraben Free and No Drying Alcohol now live in Beauty Preferences. • More products and brands in the catalog, and more link straight to their store page. • Bug fixes and small improvements.

• Adding a product now starts with a search. If Selv doesn't have yours, add it yourself in one tap and send it to us for the catalog. • Search by ingredient, not just by product name. • Routine Check tells you what it found at a glance, with clearer advice whenever your cleanser or sunscreen is involved. • Double cleansing is recognized: a micellar water and a face wash are two steps, not a duplicate. • A reorganized Profile, with your Skin Score, climate and badges up top. • Ten badges for the things you actually do. • Brand pages with prices, sourced facts, and one-tap add to your shelf. • Better VoiceOver support and larger text sizes. • A bigger, more carefully checked product catalog.

Climate tips now cover every US state, plus 75 cities with their own. Rate what you use: would you buy it again, and how did your skin react? Your answers are private to you. Tap any brand to see every product Selv knows from it. A new optional setting in Profile for pregnancy, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive points out ingredients doctors commonly advise discussing. It stays on your phone. Plus sharper ingredient checks, a cleaner product catalog, and more direct store links.

Fixes an update mix-up: this is the release you were promised on Tuesday. Your iPhone's light or dark mode, an optional account to keep your routine and streak safe, a time wheel for reminders, and a one-screen setup.

Save your progress. If you're in the US, an optional account now keeps your routine, your streak, and every day you've checked off. Sign in with Apple or with a code sent to your email, no password. Selv Skin now follows your iPhone's light or dark mode. Store buttons say exactly what they do, and quiz picks open straight to the product page. Also: a one-screen setup, a time picker for reminders, and more accurate ingredient warnings.

Your Profile now changes what Selv suggests. Turn on a sensitivity (fragrance, sulfates, parabens, alcohol, essential oils, and more), and Selv flags the products on your shelf that contain it, then keeps it out of what it recommends. Beauty preferences work the same way: cruelty-free, vegan, and fragrance-free picks get tagged, and Selv swaps a suggestion when it knows a better match for you. Every brand fact behind those tags was checked against the brand's own published policy. When something is not verified, Selv says nothing rather than guessing. Rest days count now. If tonight's lineup is empty because your actives are resting, your streak holds. Also new: Where I Shop sends each product to the store you actually use, Favorite Brands lets you add your own, and every product page shows what Selv knows about it and what it does not. Two products that clash now share one card instead of repeating themselves.

Every other night, finally. Set how often each product runs (every day, every other day, 2x a week, weekly), and your checklist shows only tonight's lineup. Routine Check now knows when two clashing products are on different nights and can alternate them for you in one tap. Product levels now go down on their own as you check steps off, so the running-low nudge arrives without you touching a slider. Plus 100 ingredient interaction rules (including prescription acne and rosacea treatments) and new products from Rhode, Dr. Idriss, Face Reality, Sofie Pavitt, and more.

Fixed a keyboard that wouldn't go away (thanks, Lex!), and new members' profiles now count from their actual first day.

Seasonal picks now refresh weekly and match your skin type. Points are simpler too: one point per completed routine.

New: Kate Somerville, SkinMedica, Philosophy, and more in the catalog. Faster setup for new users, and the birthday field now formats itself as you type.

Selv now explains itself. Every recommended step shows why it's in your plan, recommendations recognize products already on your shelf, and serums land in the right routine automatically based on their ingredients. Plus: the evening routine opens in the evening (sorry about that), and adopted routines no longer duplicate products used morning and night.
