Replace an artwork and its post can show as new in the feeds again (at most once a week). A new switch lets you skip that for small fixes, and the app tells you when the post can move up again, or when a replacement needs a moderator's review. Messages from the Club now appear in your language, with clearer details when something fails. Fixed: the editor's menu was too wide.

Makapix Club now speaks your language: English, Español, Português (Brasil), Français, Deutsch, Русский, 日本語 and 简体中文. The app follows your phone's language. To pick another one, open Settings → Language in the Club, or Language… in the editor's menu. Also: screens hold up better with large system text, and selected tool options show a single check mark.

Mentions: type @ in comments and post descriptions to tag another artist, who gets a notification. Plus fixes.

Frames and Layers pages: select many frames or layers and duplicate, delete, reorder, or merge them in one go, with up to 128 layers per frame. Symmetry: mirror strokes across a movable axis, plus the Outline tool and Replace color. Also new: Crop canvas, 1:1 imports that park the overhang in the gutter, five gradient dither families, Replay paced by working time, brushes exactly Size wide, Copy from the whole frame, Diagonal fill, a launch that never waits on the network, and fixes.

Patterns: paint through dither and texture masks. Tap the new Pattern swatch on the Pencil, Brush, Eraser, and Bucket to pick from 116 tiles (Bayer ladders, lines, bricks, checkers); the Gradient gets ordered dithering. Also new: 512x512 canvases, File > Open for PNG/GIF/WebP/JPEG/BMP, a Place step and a zoomable crop editor for imports, Slow drags, hidden tools, an Artwork colors page, a repeatable Bucket fill, two-tap delete confirmation, and fixes.

Makapix 1.7.0: • Repeat: tap Redo at the newest step to re-run your last action • Gradients grow to 8 colors with a quick − N + stepper • Pick color sources: Primary, Previous, or any palette color in one tap • Clipboard swatch with a tap-to-zoom preview • New drawings start with black + white • Bigger, finger-friendly shape and selection handles • New frames land right after the active one Plus fixes and polish.

A big round of fixes across the editor. Strokes, drafts, and playback now behave predictably when you switch tools, frames, or layers in the middle of something, and opening a drawing is safer if a file turns out to be damaged. The frame counter follows along while an animation plays. Plus polish throughout.

Keyboard shortcuts arrive: tap a key to switch tools, hold Space to pan and Option to pick a color, and hold Shift to keep lines and moves straight. Hold Cmd, or open Menu > Keyboard, to see every shortcut. The layer sheet now shows a live mini stack, and the + button inserts above the active layer. Rename your artwork right from the menu. Gradients now blend over the layer instead of replacing it, and replays show transparency as a checkerboard. Plus fixes and polish.

Smooth edges arrive: the round Brush, the Line, Rectangle, Ellipse, and Triangle tools, and the round Eraser gain an AA (anti-alias) toggle for crisp, smooth edges. Strokes now lay a single even coat: repainting inside one stroke never darkens it, and lifting to stroke again deepens. The Airbrush's Mist sprays richer specks of varied depth. GIF export now tells you when semi-transparent pixels were flattened. Plus fixes and polish.

Remix lineage comes to the Club: artwork pages now show what a post was remixed from and every remix made of it, with a full Lineage browser, a "Remixes of my works" view, and a notification when someone remixes your art. The Airbrush learns two new modes: Soft lays smooth translucent strokes and Mist sprays a fine grain of faint specks.

A full color-picker makeover: the hue slider responds across its entire width, landscape gets a side-by-side layout, and RGB/HSV entry is switched with tidy chips. On iPhone, the number keyboard finally has a Done key.

This update is all about smoothness and battery life. Animation playback now runs on a new frame-accurate clock, so fast animations play back silky-smooth. The editor draws far less power - battery use during playback and while idle has been cut by more than half - and playback pauses itself when the app goes to the background. Plus, the timeline now scrolls along automatically to keep the current frame in view while you step through your animation.

Watch your art come to life - literally. Every drawing now records its own making-of: open the editor menu and tap "Watch replay" to scrub through your drawing's history stroke by stroke, at 15, 30, or 60 seconds. Then "Share timelapse" renders it as a crisp video, with your finished animation playing at the end - ready to share anywhere. Also fixes the color picker's hue slider on iPhone.

Notifications are now live: reactions, comments, and follows appear the moment they happen while the app is open - no more waiting on the next refresh.

The editor gains a Levels adjustment (shadows, gamma, highlights) and layer blend modes - 10 modes with live preview. Drag-to-reorder now gives haptic feedback, playback pauses while menus are open, image imports no longer stall the UI, and animated WebP exports are smaller. File pickers can now select .mkpx and .mkps files.

The Club catches up with the website: filter and sort your feeds, page through search results with new sort options, see who liked a comment or follows a profile, manage your posts and view their stats, download originals, and write a richer bio. Oversized uploads can be scaled to fit in one tap. In the editor, the new Ruler Pin keeps your guides visible with any tool, and big memory improvements make drawing smoother on phones and tablets.

Palettes get smarter: one tap sorts your colors into grays-first hue ramps (extracted palettes arrive pre-sorted), and you can now name individual colors. The Gradient tool takes up to 6 colors with transparency shown right on the swatches, and Select Color can sample the whole picture or just the active layer. Search is now a swipe away on the home screen, the Player Bar hides itself where it can't act, and the Move tool got bug fixes.

- Name your palette colors and see the names as tooltips - Sort your palette into grays and hue ramps with one tap - Gradient tool now supports up to 6 colors, with transparency indicators - Select Color tool: drag to preview, and pick from the composited frame or the active layer - Color swatches now show transparency at a glance - New About screen with version info and helpful links - Assorted fixes and polish
