Dress Room is a size and wishlist app. Save your clothing, shoe and ring sizes, connect with friends and see theirs before birthdays, Christmas or anniversaries.
Dress Room is a size and wishlist app for iPhone and iPad, made by Awesome Apps. You save your clothing, shoe and ring sizes, keep a wishlist and connect with friends, so whoever is choosing a gift can see what fits and what you want.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Save your sizes by body area (head, eyewear, neck, torso, hands, legs, feet, underwear), by item type and by sizing system: US, EU, UK, AR, MX, BR and JP
• Convert top sizes between US, EU, UK and AR, and men's shoe sizes between US, EU and UK (EU 38 to 46). Conversions are approximate
• Ask "What size should I buy?" for a brand you pick and get an estimate converted from a size you already saved in the same category
• Build a wishlist of things you want to receive, plus lists of things you like and things you would rather avoid
• Add friends by @handle, by name or by scanning a QR code, then open their profile to see their sizes, wishes and likes
• Reserve a friend's wish so others can see it is taken, or start a group gift and invite others with a link
• Get reminders for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day
• Keep a digital closet of your clothes (opened from the Closet tab), build and save outfits, and ask friends to vote on your looks with A/B polls
• Share a Gift Mode link that lets others see your name, sizes, wishlist, likes and things you would rather avoid
• Unlock achievements and share your Dress Room recap
WHO IT IS FOR
People who give or receive clothing gifts (friends, couples, family) and anyone who wants sizes, wishes and closet in one place. It is not a store and not a virtual try-on. The app is in English and Spanish. It needs an internet connection and an account (email or a social sign-in).
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I know what size someone wears before buying them a present?
Connect with them by @handle, name or QR. Once they accept, you can open their profile and see their saved sizes by body area, their wishes and their likes.
Can I convert sizes between systems such as EU, US and UK?
Yes, for tops (US, EU, UK and AR) and for men's shoe sizes (US, EU and UK). Conversions are approximate.
Does Dress Room tell me which size to buy?
It estimates a size from one you already saved in the same category, using approximate conversion tables for tops and men's shoes. You need at least one saved size in that category. It does not adjust for how a brand fits.
Can several people chip in on one present?
Yes. On a friend's wish, tap Invite to share a link to that group gift. Any friend of the recipient can also open the wish in the app and tap Join. If the item has a price, the app shows about how much each person puts in. Payments happen outside the app.
Who can see my sizes and wishes?
Friends you accept can see your sizes, wishes, likes and things to avoid, your birthday if you added it, and the outfits you put in a poll. Anyone who has your Gift Mode link can see your name, @handle, photo, sizes, wishlist, likes and things to avoid, but not your closet. Anyone with a group invite link, which a friend can create for one of your wishes, sees that wish (its title and, if added, price and photo), your name and how many people have joined. Other users can also find your name, @handle and photo by searching.
Is Dress Room a store or a virtual try-on?
No. You cannot buy or try on anything in the app.
PRIVACY AND PURCHASES
The sizes, wishes and friends you add are stored on our servers. They are shown to people you accept, through a Gift Mode link, or (for a single wish) through a group-gift invite link. Your name, @handle and photo can appear when other users search for you. The app uses analytics and crash reports to improve the app. You can delete your account and data from Profile. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. If ads are shown, they are not personalized.
