2.0: iCloud sync, split with others, and payment request cards. Pay once, split into one entry per person; send a card, get a receipt when they confirm.
Money between friends and family is the easiest thing to lose track of. Who covered dinner? Did the extra you paid back last time count? Owely is built for private IOUs — and it never needs the other person to install anything.
NEW IN 2.0
• iCloud sync: your ledger syncs between your iPhones and survives a phone swap. It lives only in your own iCloud — we have no server.
• Split with others (Pro): you paid 1,200 for dinner; pick people and a method, and Owely records one entry per person, each settled on its own. Remainders are shown, totals always add up.
• Payment request cards (Pro): send a card and a link. They confirm in Owely — or on the web page without the app — and a receipt comes back to you. A confirmed entry is no longer up for debate.
• Per-contact currency: yen for your friend in Japan, dollars for a coworker. Kept separately, never converted, listed per currency on the home screen.
