Soumd - Your Music Offline

Your files, sleep sounds

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Soumd plays the audio files you already own. There is no catalog and nothing to browse online — every track in your library is a file you put there yourself. ADD YOUR FILES FIVE WAYS Pick them from Files. Send them over Wi-Fi from a computer on the same network, straight into the browser, with no server in between. Paste the address of a single audio file you have the right to use — addresses belonging to online media and social platforms are blocked. Record with the microphone. Or drop files into the app's folder from Finder and they appear on their own. Titles, artists and artwork come from the tags in your files; without tags, Soumd falls back to the filename. PLAY Visible queue, shuffle, repeat, playlists, local search. Lock screen and Control Center controls, background playback, a mini player above the tab bar. Close the app and your queue and position are waiting where you left them. SLEEP A timer from 5 to 60 minutes, extendable, or stop after this track. The last 20 seconds fade rather than cut. A full-screen night clock with oversized digits and a dimmed interface. AMBIENT SOUND, GENERATED ON YOUR DEVICE Rain, thunderstorm, ocean, stream, wind, fireplace, crickets, white, pink and brown noise. None are recordings — Soumd synthesises each one on your device the first time you use it. Layer as many as you like over a playing track, each with its own volume. Three ready mixes or save your own. RECORD Live waveform, pause and resume, music steps aside on its own. Stopping saves immediately and asks for a name afterwards. Dark mode, five colour sets, listening statistics and a storage breakdown. Scales to every screen, Split View on iPad, respects Dynamic Type. PRIVACY Soumd collects nothing. No analytics, no tracking, no account, no ads, no in-app purchases. Everything stays on your device. The app touches the network only when you ask it to: fetching a file from an address you pasted, or running the local page for Wi-Fi transfer.
