FamilyGuard: GPS & Screen Time

Child location & family alerts

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.

FamilyGuard helps families stay connected and feel safe, openly and with the child's knowledge. It is not a spying app: the child always sees that they are connected and what is shared. FOR PARENTS • The child's latest location, battery level and connectivity • Alerts when the child arrives at home, school or any safe place you set, and when they leave • "I'm OK": the child sends a check-in with their latest location in one tap • A long press on SOS sends the parent an urgent alert that comes through even when the phone is on silent • Status requests from the parent, to know how the child is doing at any moment • Screen Time with Apple's Screen Time: a daily limit, study and sleep hours, a temporary block and requests for more time from the child • Parent code: choosing apps on the child's iPhone opens only with a code the parent sets • Adult website blocking and age-based content limits • An alert when the child travels faster than the speed you choose (Premium) APPLE WATCH (PREMIUM) • For parents: alerts, SOS, "I'm OK" requests and location updates from the watch • For children: SOS, "I'm OK" and location sharing from the watch, including a watch without an iPhone, connected with a code PRIVACY FIRST • No ads, no selling of data and no hidden tracking • The child joins with an invitation code from the parent and always sees what is shared • Audio is never recorded or stored • You can delete the account and the family's data from within the app Premium Plus includes optional live audio. A parent can start it only after the child grants permission on the child's device; the child can revoke it at any time, always sees a clear active-microphone screen and can stop the session. Force-closing the child app may pause updates until it is opened again. The free plan includes one child, two safe places and the core safety tools, including every Screen Time capability. Premium and Premium Plus are optional monthly subscriptions with more children, more safe places (up to nineteen safe places with Premium Plus), the Apple Watch app for parents and children, a second parent, low-battery alerts, driving-speed alerts and live audio (only with the child's consent). Subscription details: • The subscription renews automatically every month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, and the price is shown in the app before you confirm. • You can manage and cancel the subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Location and alerts may be delayed or not arrive, for example when the phone or watch is off, in flight mode or without reception.
