FEATURES
- Full address lookup — house/property name, road, town and postcode, built from Apple Maps and OpenStreetMap data for the most accurate result, especially in rural areas.
- GPS coordinates — latitude and longitude to six decimal places, with a live GPS accuracy indicator so you know how precise your fix is.
- OS Grid Reference — full British National Grid reference plus easting/northing, ready to read out to search and rescue, land management or surveying contacts.
- what3words — jump straight to your what3words address for pinpoint-accurate sharing.
- Interactive map — see your exact position on a standard or satellite map and open it directly in Apple Maps for turn-by-turn directions.
- Emergency mode — a large, high-contrast screen built for reading your location out loud or sharing it instantly with emergency services, family or friends. One tap copies everything (address, grid reference, coordinates) to your clipboard, or shares it via Messages, WhatsApp, email or any other app.
- Pull to refresh — get an updated fix any time your location changes.
Where Am I? doesn't need an account, doesn't track you, and doesn't show ads. It simply turns your GPS signal into the address and reference formats you actually need — for hikers, dog walkers, delivery drivers, landowners, surveyors, and anyone who needs to describe exactly where they are, fast.
