FISHING JOURNAL — Log every catch with photos, species, weight, length, bait, and conditions snapshots. No signal? Log it anyway — it saves on your phone and uploads itself when you're back in range.
AI FISH ID — Snap a photo and our AI identifies the species from 800+ fish. Free. Really.
BITE FORECASTS — Daily bite windows from solunar data, barometric pressure trends, and sunrise/sunset — plus an evening heads-up when tomorrow looks prime at your spots.
RIVER GAUGE ALERTS — Save USGS gauges and get notified when flows hit your ideal range.

1000% recommend. I’ve been using this app for a while now, and it’s become one of the first things I check before heading to the water. The weather forecasts, solunar fishing times, and water conditions have helped me plan better trips and spend more time catching fish instead of guessing where and when to go. The app is easy to navigate, loads quickly, and the maps are accurate. I also like being able to log my catches and keep track of my favorite fishing spots. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced angler, this app is a valuable tool that makes every fishing trip more enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves to fish.

FishHook has quickly become one of my favorite fishing apps. It’s easy to use, completely free, and has a ton of useful features like a catch journal, fishing map, tackle box, weather, and a great community of anglers. I really like that it respects private fishing spots while still making it easy to share catches and connect with others. It’s clear the developers care about improving the app, and I’m excited to see it continue to grow. Definitely worth downloading if you enjoy fishing!
