Anchor watch: reliable on every device, even offline • With the Bosun via Bluetooth your phone alerts even without internet. • Acknowledging applies on all devices; unacknowledged alarms repeat every 2 minutes. • “Position unknown” with a reason and “position uncertain” with weak GPS. • Its own alarm tone; the phone reports lost GPS reception and keeps going after a dead zone. • New bottom bar: Anchor as its own tab, checklists under “More”.

CoCaptain is now also available in French and Italian — pick your language in Settings. Apple Watch: tidier speed and anchor views, with the action button now at the top. Plus many small improvements and bug fixes.

Meet CoCaptain Bosun: the onboard device records your voyage and keeps anchor watch – even with no phone aboard. • Pair the Bosun with its QR code or label code, pick Wi-Fi right while pairing, encrypted connection • Anchor watch on the Bosun with notifications to all your devices; recording and anchor watch run at the same time • Assign tracks recorded without a voyage to a voyage; GPS view with satellites & signal strength • Confirmations appear centered on screen, notifications in your app language • Fixed: compass covering map buttons, anchor circle on opening, units in the track bubble

Choose your units: speed, distance and exports in your unit (km/h, km, mph). New: tap the track to see time, speed, course, propulsion and distance at that spot. Supply adopts NMEA tank senders automatically. Confirm logbook suggestions right there. Plus polish and fixes (account switch, splitting clusters, zoom while recording).

• GPS recording rate: in Settings you choose how densely the track is recorded – precise for short trips, economical for long ones (saves battery and storage). • Group pins: the cluster radius of the logbook pins on the map is now adjustable. • Correct propulsion: tapping the track sets the start first, the second tap the end. • “Sign in with Google” as its own, clearly recognisable button. • Minor fixes to statistics and display.

- Correct the track, now with "Move stretch": drop one or more handles on the track and the highlighted section moves as a whole to the right place - shape-preserving instead of a spike. A slider sets how much moves. "Add points" stays for filling gaps around land. - Sign in with Google, alongside Apple and email/password. - "Correct propulsion" and "Correct track" now open instantly, with a clear loading indicator. - The app is now consistently English or German throughout, including dates and times.

Direction arrows on the track: small arrows along the route show the direction of travel at a glance – in the propulsion colour (sailing, motor, motorsailing). Much faster: app start, the tracking tab and opening long voyages are now instant. New logbook entries in a long voyage also appear without any noticeable delay. Correct propulsion: sailing, motoring and motorsailing can be adjusted per segment right in the logbook. Auto-detected events (e.g. engine on, mooring) now appear as suggestions you can confirm or discard. Correct the track: if the recorded line runs across land — e.g. after a GPS gap — drag it to the right spot with blue handles right on the map. No timestamp needed. More accurate auto-detection: mooring and engine events are debounced — a brief GPS gap under way no longer counts as arrival, and propulsion no longer flickers between sail and motor. Logbook: changing an entry's date or time — or deleting one — now moves it to the right place immediately and renumbers the rest. Anchor alarm: arming no longer zooms the map out and back in. If the second device loses its link to the anchor watch, you now reliably get an alert on your phone. Complete track everywhere: if a device is missing points that are in the cloud (e.g. after a reinstall), they are pulled in automatically when you open the voyage — iPhone, iPad and web show the same complete route.

New in version 1.4: • Radio – device guides: For common VHF radios (Standard Horizon, Icom, Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad/B&G, Lowrance, Cobra, Uniden) there is now a quick guide to DSC operation — distress call, routine call and basic operation. You can save "my radio" and open it straight from the distress screen. Available offline. • Landscape: Rotating to landscape now keeps the voyage you are viewing (previously the app jumped to the active voyage). • Logbook: A position set by hand on the map is now tagged "Map". • Further small improvements and bug fixes.

New in version 1.3: • What's new: The app now has its own section showing what changed in each version — via "More → What's new" and once after an update. • Voyage chart: A voyage's track now loads reliably when you open it. A voyage recorded on another device shows its route right away, with a "Loading track …" hint while it downloads. • More stable: Fixed a crash when opening very long voyages with many logbook pins, plus further small improvements.

New in version 1.2: • Anchor alarm with a free-drawn alarm zone: trace the alarm boundary to fit the bay, with an inner yellow warning contour that alerts you early. The anchor point can be placed independently. • Expanded radio assistant: SÉCURITÉ now states your call sign and MMSI. Relay, acknowledgement and cancellation are ready to use. For distress calls (MAYDAY/PAN-PAN), the position's time is added in UTC when there is no fresh GPS fix. • Logbook: set an entry's position from your current location or by picking it on the map. • Charts: fit and zoom respect the visible area — controls no longer hide track points. • Subscription purchases are linked to your account more reliably, plus further fixes and refinements.

In this update: • Logbook entries are now grouped on the map instead of stacking on top of each other. • For fuel and water you can see whether the values come from an NMEA/Signal K sensor or are estimated – including the source device when the sensor is on another device. • Voyage and total distance are calculated correctly; no more phantom miles while lying still. • Downloading large tracks runs reliably, without crashes and without missing or duplicate points. • Smaller refinements in the boat detail and supply overview.
