What's new in Talefall 1.3.1: • Please update: before your next book order, this version asks for updated AI-provider permission and links to our updated Privacy Policy, including that new book orders now go directly to OpenAI under our own data processing agreement, and how deletion requests reach it. • Books are written by GPT-6.1 Sol, chapter by chapter from a plan. • With your permission, a push notification can let you know a book is ready even while Talefall is closed. Tap it to open the app and start downloading. Background delivery remains subject to iOS. • A clearer start screen, and the plans screen makes clear that the 3-day trial covers the player only. New to Talefall? A player built for listening for hours, on-device transcription, narration of your own texts, and audiobooks from your ideas with the Talefall Subscription (adults in supported countries).

Talefall 1.3 is our biggest update yet. • Create audiobooks from an idea: describe a story, an explainer or a how-to, pick the language and length, and Talefall writes and narrates it for you (Talefall Subscription, adults in supported countries). • Narrate your own text in the Talefall voice (subscription), or with an Apple system voice right on your iPhone. • Transcribe audiobooks into text on your device and read along. • A redesigned app: My Books, Create and Search tabs, a new player and reader. • The player is now included in the Talefall Subscription. The one-time player purchase is still available, and if you already own it, it stays yours. • A short AI sample story to try right away. • Fixed: seeking by dragging the progress slider.

Fixed an issue where dragging the progress slider sometimes failed to change the playback position. Playback now moves to the selected position when you lift your finger or briefly hold it still.

Import PDF books. Talefall pulls the text off the page, columns and headings included, so a PDF becomes a book you can read along, listen to and search like any other. Plus a broad round of stability work across the app.

Read while you listen: follow every word on screen, tap a sentence to jump the audio, highlight and take notes. Plus reading statistics, per-book appearance, auto-scroll — and a faster, more reliable player under the hood.
