Barfly Diners
Your private bar journal
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Never forget a good bar again.
Barfly Diners is a private journal for people who love bars — the neighborhood
spot, the ice house, the dive, the cocktail room. Save the places you love,
skip the ones you didn't, and remember the details that make a regular a
regular: the bartender's name, what you drank, who you met, where to sit.
YOUR JOURNAL, NOT A FEED
• Love it, put it On the List, or Pass — your call, your notes
• Remember staff, go-to drinks, people you met, and visit history
• Search everything — places, notes, people
• Photos, visit notes, and "get there before 6 on Fridays" wisdom
FIND YOUR NEXT SPOT
• "I'm here now" — one tap logs where you're sitting
• Places near me — see what's around, spot the ones you've already loved
• Plan a trip — search another city without saving anything
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account. No sign-up. No social feed. No ads.
• Your journal lives on your device — not on our servers
• Optional auto-backup is encrypted on your phone before it leaves;
we store bytes we cannot read. Your recovery code is the only key.
• Share one journal with your partner: same code, both phones,
always in sync
FOR PEOPLE WHO SIT AT THE BAR
Barfly Diners is made by barflies, for barflies — the people who know the
staff, tip well, and always have a recommendation. Pull up to the bar.
Barfly Diners is for adults 21 and over (18+ rating). Drink responsibly.

Scan a Barfly QR code - a bar's sign or a bartender's card - and it now opens straight to that spot in the app instead of bouncing you out to a browser.
Fixed a location permission problem that could stop nearby bars from loading.
If you work at a bar, you can now share your venue's QR code right from the app.
Groundwork so small improvements can reach you faster between updates.
