Sound Safari and First Sound Friends now have larger, stacked picture choices, clearer replay controls and navigation that stays within reach. Cards and controls adapt more comfortably when you rotate or resize the screen. Letter Sound Garden has softer soap bubbles that rise and dissolve after a tap. Repeated taps let the recording and animation finish. Reduce Motion uses a stationary highlight. New recordings for the cat, frog, apple, cookie, milk, nose and door replace the previous sound effects.

Letter Sound Garden is simpler: one large lowercase letter at a time. Tap to hear its recorded sound and an example, with two little bubbles on each tap. Explore eight letters in each of English, Spanish and French with Previous and Next, at your own pace. Repeated taps let the recording finish. Audio and bubbles stop when you leave. With Reduce Motion, the bubbles stay still and gently fade. Spanish now uses Latin American pronunciation, with US and Mexico options for the system voice.

Choose how to play from the new home screen: Flashcards, Find It! or Sound Garden. Your card categories, family cards and weekly deck are together in the Flashcards library. Sound Garden adds three free activities in English, Spanish and French: match animal sounds to pictures, find words with the same beginning sound, and match a recorded sound to a lowercase letter. Play together with a grown-up for five rounds, with two choices, replay and gentle hints. Each session ends with a little offscreen activity. Start with listening; explore beginning sounds and letters when your child is ready. The activity chooser and card library support Larger Text, and the library's Back button stays in view while you browse. Games also stop their audio when you leave or the app becomes inactive.

The familiar parrot and flashcards from our app icon now appear in the Mumu Words logo on the home screen and in the Pro section, giving the app a more consistent look.

Animal cards now play clear recordings of the animals themselves, including dogs, cats, cows, pigs, ducks, lions, monkeys, frogs and birds. We also removed the sound button from the fish card rather than play an inaccurate effect.
