Each day, Permission offers you one gentle prompt — a small invitation to notice, soften, and grow. Then you choose how to answer it: write it in words, speak it aloud, or draw it by hand. However it wants to come out, it has a home here.
Permission was created for women doing the tender work of reconnecting with themselves — but it's for anyone who wants a calm, judgment-free space to reflect.

Transcription is back — and recording now pauses.
TRANSCRIPTS RETURN
Finish a voice entry and Permission turns it into text you can read back. It happens entirely on your iPhone using on-device speech recognition — your recording is never uploaded, and if your phone has no offline model for your language the app tells you so rather than sending your audio anywhere. The transcript is yours to edit, and it saves alongside the recording.
PAUSE AND CARRY ON
Tapping the microphone no longer starts a new recording over the top of the one you were making. It pauses. Stop to gather a thought, tap again, and the same take keeps going — nothing you have already said is lost. Tap Done when you have finished, and the whole recording is transcribed together.
Also: the timer now counts your recorded time accurately, so short takes are no longer saved as zero seconds.
