New: a captions studio with 13 styles, Horizontal recording on iPhone, and Edit to get every take ready to post. One subscription covers iPhone, iPad and Mac.
The teleprompter that keeps your eyes near the camera. EyePrompt puts your script in a narrow band right under the front camera, so you can read every word while your eyes stay near the lens. On iPhone, iPad and Mac.
WHO IT IS FOR
• Creators filming talking-head videos for Reels, TikTok and YouTube
• Job seekers recording an application or introduction video
• Founders, teams and teachers on video calls from a Mac
• Speakers rehearsing a talk, a pitch or a toast
HORIZONTAL RECORDING
Turn your iPhone sideways to record 16:9 video. The script moves to a narrow column beside the camera, level with the lens. Set its text size, width and lines. The Library, Takes and Edit turn sideways too.
SMART FOLLOW
The script follows your voice: it waits while you pause, holds when you lose your place or go off script, and catches up when you skip ahead. Other voices and noise rarely push it ahead. Recognition runs on your device, in your script's language, not on a server.
EYE CONTACT SCORE
After each front-camera take in the default Eye contact style, the Eye Contact Score estimates how steady your gaze stayed and shows when it moved away.
CAPTIONS STUDIO
13 caption styles, matched on your device to what you said. From my script shows your script where recognition mishears you. Add a Name card, fix any word and preview full screen with guides for each platform. Second language adds a translation, labeled Translated. Save captions in the video, as an .srt file, or both.
TAKES AND EDIT
Every take in one place, to save or share several at once. Trim, or let Clean ends cut the quiet at both ends. Shape reframes a take to 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 or 16:9 around your face. Add a cover, a title and your own music, and export for several platforms in one go. Say it again offers to cut a sentence you started over.
ALSO IN THE APP
• Eye Contact focus lights only the line at the lens; Lens Lock holds it still.
• Hands-free with a keyboard or a clicker: record, stop, pause and move the script a line. Stop when I finish can end the take after your last line.
• On iPad and iPhone Duo the band sits right at the camera.
QUESTIONS
• Does it work with Zoom, Meet, Teams and FaceTime? On Mac the band floats above them and is hidden from screen sharing in supported apps.
• Does it change my eyes with AI? No. EyePrompt never edits or repaints your eyes.
• Do I need an account or the internet? No account, and it works in Airplane Mode. Second language downloads a language from Apple only when you ask.
• Will viewers know I am reading? Short lines at the lens help a lot, but a careful viewer can still tell.

I don’t understand why this app doesn’t have a landscape view!?!?!?
Developer Response
Thank you for the honest feedback. Horizontal recording is here in version 1.6: turn your iPhone sideways on the recording screen and the script moves into a short column beside the camera, for 16:9 video. If anything isn't right, write to support@eyeprompt.app and we'll help.
Captions studio: 13 caption styles, from Clean and Subtitle to Karaoke, Neon and News. Set the look, add a Name card with your name and title, fix a misheard word, and watch it full screen with guides for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, YouTube and LinkedIn. Save the captions in the video, as an .srt file, or both.
Horizontal recording on iPhone: turn your iPhone sideways on the recording screen to record 16:9 video. The script moves to a narrow column beside the camera, level with the lens. Set its text size, width and lines, and change the size and width during a take. It is on by default, with a switch in Settings. With it on, the Library, the script editor, Settings, Review, Takes, Edit and the captions studio turn with your iPhone too, and the app opens sideways when your iPhone is sideways. Portrait Orientation Lock keeps everything upright.
Takes and Edit: every take in one place, to save or share several at once. In Edit, trim a take or let Clean ends cut the quiet at both ends. Shape reframes it to 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 or 16:9 around your face. Add a cover, a title and your own music, then export for several platforms in one go. On iPad, drag a take out to Files or another app.
Second language, on iOS 18 or later: add a translation of your captions, under your words or in their place, labeled Translated. A language downloads from Apple only when you ask, and the studio tells you while it downloads. To get languages ahead of time, use Translation languages in Settings.
Say it again: when you start a sentence over, EyePrompt offers to cut the first try.
Hands-free keys: with a keyboard or a presentation clicker, Space records and stops, the arrow keys and Page Up and Page Down move the script a line, P pauses, and the plus and minus keys change the speed. Stop when I finish, in Settings, ends the take after your last line. It is off by default.
Smart Follow is steadier and copes better with accents. It now waits for the corrected words from speech recognition, so it rarely slows down and then catches up while you read steadily. It holds when you lose your place or go off script, and other voices and noise are much less likely to move it.
Captions follow your script: where recognition mishears you, they show your script's words. Pick From my script (the default) or As I said, and the Words panel lists every difference. The .srt file follows the same choice, with your fixes. Line breaks in Japanese and Chinese follow the usual rules.
Deleting a script or a take removes every file saved with it.
Small fixes, including on iPhone Duo.
