Fill an external drive’s free space with random data before you sell or pass it on. Remove fill files in one click when you’re done. FillDisk Pro overwrites free space on an external drive with random data — so nothing useful remains in empty areas before you sell, donate, or retire a disk. How it works • Pick a volume — External USB and Thunderbolt drives. System disk is not offered. • Choose fill level — Typically 95% of capacity. FillDisk writes random files until free space is used. • Inspect the drive — Existing files stay as they are; free space becomes random fill you can browse. • Remove Fill — One click deletes all fill files and gives you space back. When to use it Handing off a backup drive, USB archive, or old external SSD/HDD — when you want free space overwritten without booting from Recovery or running Terminal scripts. Plain and private No subscriptions. No analytics. All work happens locally on the drive you select. Important FillDisk Pro fills free space only. It does not securely erase individual files you leave on the disk. For wiping a Mac you continue to use, use Erase All Content and Settings. Not marketed as forensic-grade erasure.
