PDF Patch helps you fix small mistakes in a PDF — a typo, wrong date, outdated logo — without re-exporting from Word or paying for Acrobat.
Open a PDF, double-click any page, and the app scans that page for text and image regions you can edit. Adjust the content, review your changes, and save YourFile-patched.pdf next to the original.
How it works
• Open a PDF — Drop a file onto the window or use Choose PDF….
• Build your find list — Add patterns and enable them with checkboxes. Your list is remembered across documents.
• Auto detect — Scan all pages on your Mac. Matches are marked automatically; you can cancel anytime.
• Review page by page — Double-click a thumbnail to open the page editor. Click × to remove a patch, or drag to add one manually.
• Text and image regions — Text matches are patched in the PDF itself. Image and scan areas use your chosen fill style.
• Save — Export YourFile-patched.pdf next to the original. The source file is never changed.

• Fixing typos, wrong dates, old phone numbers, or template text before sharing
• Updating repeated phrases across a multi-page PDF
• Patching logos, stamps, or image areas on scanned documents
• Small corrections when re-exporting from Word or InDesign is overkill
Not a full PDF editor

PDF Patch works fully offline. Documents stay on your Mac. Text recognition uses Apple Vision on device. No upload, no account, no analytics, and no network access is required.
