Carers see their round, check in by NFC or QR, record tasks and medication at the door, and work through poor signal. Everything syncs back to the office automatically. Rostar Sync is the carer app for home care agencies running Rostar Sync care management software. It is used by employed care workers, whose accounts are created by their care coordinator. It is not a consumer app and cannot be used without an account issued by an agency. YOUR ROUND, IN ORDER Open the app to the calls that are yours today, with planned times, tasks, access instructions and anything the office has flagged. No hunting through a paper rota. CHECK IN AT THE DOOR Tap an NFC tag or scan a QR code at the service user's home to check in and out. Times are captured as they happen rather than remembered at the end of a shift, so the record reflects the visit that was actually delivered. WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL Check-in, check-out, tasks and notes are recorded on the phone and sync when the connection returns. A hallway with no bars does not stop a carer starting or closing a call. MEDICATION, RECORDED PROPERLY See only the doses due around each call, worded for what you were asked to do: administer, assist or prompt. A call cannot be closed with a dose unaccounted for. Record it, or say why you could not, and the explanation goes onto the chart. NOTES AT THE DOOR Write your visit notes while you are there, not from memory in the car afterwards. Notes are saved on the phone and sync when you have a connection. MILEAGE AND AVAILABILITY Log mileage between calls, and tell the office which days you can work without it turning into a WhatsApp thread. ABOUT ACCOUNTS Accounts are created by your care agency. You cannot register in the app. If you do not have a login, speak to your care coordinator.
