Tangentflow: Calm Todo Board
The todo app that never nags
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Type a thought, flick it through three columns, and let the rest wait quietly. Free, private, everything on your phone. Nothing turns red. Nothing counts your streaks.
Most todo apps act like disappointed managers. Red badges. Overdue screams. Streaks that break.
TangentFlow is the other kind. It's a calm little board for everything your brain throws at you, built on one rule: nothing here will ever make you feel bad.
CATCH IT BEFORE IT DRIFTS
One bar, always ready. Type the thought, hit enter, done. Add #tags and priority with ! or !! right in the sentence, or don't. A home-screen widget and share-sheet capture mean a thought is never more than one tap from safe.
THREE COLUMNS, ZERO CEREMONY
Backlog, Doing, Done. Swipe a card to move it. High-priority thoughts float gently to the top. That's the whole system: no projects-inside-projects, no setup weekend.
NO GUILT. EVER.
Nothing turns red. There are no streaks, no badges, no "you've missed 12 days." A due date, if you even want one, just says "was due 5 Jul" and keeps waiting. Missed things sit quietly until you're ready. This isn't a missing feature: it's the whole point.
YOURS. ONLY YOURS.
Everything lives on your phone. No account, no cloud, no analytics, no tracking — we couldn't read your thoughts if we wanted to. Optional Face ID lock. Optional daily backups to a folder you control. Export everything as plain JSON, anytime.
QUIET EXTRAS, ALL OPTIONAL
• Multiple boards for separate corners of life
• A gentle insights page, quiet wins, not scoreboards
• Photo attachments (off by default)
• Soft animated card backgrounds, if you like a little color
• Light, dark, and system themes
• iPad layout with all three columns side by side
No ads. No subscription. No account.
Made for minds that move faster than todo lists.
