SHARE YOUR RESULT Every calculator screen now has a Share button. One tap sends your pace, your race plan, your predicted times or your training paces into a message or a post — as one clear line, with no screenshot needed.

RunPace is ad-free. The banner is gone, and so is everything that came with it: no consent form on first launch, no tracking prompt, no third-party code at all. The app starts faster and asks you for nothing. Race Times and Training Paces are now part of RunPace Pro — one purchase, no subscription. The Calculator, Race Plan and Settings stay free, with no ads and no time limit. If you already have RunPace, nothing is taken away from you. You keep all five tabs, free, for good. That is a promise, not an offer.

Finish times are now right to the second. The app rounded the wrong way in some cases: a marathon at 5:00 min/km showed 3:30:58 where 3:30:59 is correct. It affected every finish time and split — in Calculator, Race Plan and Race Times alike. The numbers now match the pace charts on runpace.no.

RunPace now tells you that the ads can be bought away. The offer is a card that slides down from the top of the screen. How often you see it: • At most three times in total - never more than that • The third time you open the app, then around the thirteenth and the twenty-third • It disappears on its own after eight seconds, and you can swipe it away sooner • After the third time we never bring it up again The purchase is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and it covers every device you use with the same Apple Account. You can also find it in Settings at any time, along with the option to restore an earlier purchase. If you had RunPace before it showed ads, you never see this card at all - your app stays ad-free for good, at no cost.

If you already have RunPace, nothing changes. The app stays ad-free for you — free, forever. You'll never see a banner, and you'll never be asked to pay to remove one. That goes for everyone who has downloaded RunPace up to now. New installs get one small banner at the bottom. That's what pays for the app, and that's all it is: no full-screen ads, no video, nothing that interrupts you. A single purchase removes it for good, on every device you use with the same Apple Account. Split tables scroll more smoothly. Long tables used to build every row at once; now the rows are built as you reach them.

A simpler calculator Pace and speed now sit side by side with an equals sign between them, and the card that repeated the same two numbers is gone. Distances and Intervals The two buttons under the wheels have clearer names, and clearer contents: Distances lists the races you might enter, Intervals a full ladder from 100 m to 10 km. Distances read the way runners say them Whole kilometres in km, shorter reps in metres: 1200 m, not 1.2 km. Split tables and interval tables both follow it. More distances to choose from 1500 m, 15 km and 30 km are new in the distance picker; custom distance has been removed. Clearer explanations The time wheel now tells you both what to enter and whether the value came from Apple Health, and if you haven't connected, it's one tap away. Riegel's formula and VDOT are explained where they're used.

Apple Health now works the way it should. Connecting could previously stall without the app saying anything, so your fitness figure never came through. Settings now shows clearly whether RunPace has access, and what to do if it doesn't. New: if you have changed the time yourself, one tap brings back the paces based on your fitness figure.

New icon. The running track is still there, redrawn as two clean lanes on yellow — far easier to pick out on a full home screen. Same app underneath; nothing has moved. The calculator remembers where you left off. The pace you set last time is already there when you open the app, so you don't have to dial it in again.

PaceLoop is now RunPace — same app, same brand as runpace.no. Nothing else changes; your settings stay put. Every screen explains itself. Each input now says what it's for right where you use it, so nothing is hidden behind an info button any more. And Training Paces has a new VO₂max card: your Apple Health reading with a 12-month trend line, so you can see which way your fitness is going.

Miles done properly. The pace and speed wheels now run in min/mi and mph, so you can dial in 8:00 pace exactly. Splits, split intervals and race distances all switch to a US set — including the mile and the ten-miler — and a new install follows your iPhone's region automatically.
