Kai is a private AI that does things for you. It searches the web, reads your calendar, saves notes and adds events after your Allow. It talks with you, interprets between two languages, reads your documents and photos, makes pictures, and runs commands in a small sandbox on your phone. There is no sign-up and no subscription.
ERRANDS, DONE FOR YOU
Give Kai a job in plain words, like "find three dentists open on Saturday and save the best one in a note". Kai searches, reads each page, compares what it finds and brings back the result. You see every step, what each step cost and the limit you set.
TALK TO KAI
Tap the voice button and talk without your hands. Kai answers out loud and stops to listen when you speak. Turn on the interpreter, choose two languages, and Kai interprets both ways while you talk. Choose from eight voices.
SEE AND READ
Attach PDFs, photos, Word files and spreadsheets to one ask, and Kai reads them together. Point your camera with Kai Lens and ask what you see: a menu, a plant, a label or a math problem. Share a web page to Kai and it reads the page to you.
MAKE PICTURES
Describe a picture and Kai draws it. Give Kai a photo and say what to change, and Kai changes it. Save the result to Photos or share it.
MEMORY AND SKILLS
Tap Keep on an answer and Kai keeps it as a note in Memory. Your notes are plain files that you can read and edit. Skills teach Kai new errands: eight come with Kai, and you can add more as folders.
YOUR CALENDAR AND NOTES
Kai reads your calendar and reminders to plan your week and find clashes. It adds events and reminders, and changes or deletes an event, only after you tap Allow. A note that an errand saves waits for your Allow too.
FROM YOUR MAC
Install K.ai Link on your Mac, and Kai can answer from the files in the folders you choose. The connection is encrypted, and only the passages that answer your question leave the Mac.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
There is no account to make. Your phone makes an anonymous key, and the key is your account. Our servers keep no logs of your conversations. Your phone can remove personal details from a document before it sends it, and your history stays on your phone for seven days. One tap clears everything.
HONEST PRICING
You get $5 of credit to start. Most answers cost about one cent, and every answer shows its price. There is no subscription: buy prepaid credit only when you want more, and set a limit for each errand.
SMART, BUT STILL LEARNING
Kai can make mistakes, so check its work. Kai shows every step and what it cost, so you can see how it got there. Nothing changes on your calendar, reminders or notes until you tap Allow.
Ask Kai from Siri, Shortcuts or the Action button. Use Kai on iPhone, iPad, Mac with one key and one balance.
