ExifOff: Remove Photo Location
Strip EXIF & GPS data to share
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Check what a photo or video reveals, then share a copy without location or EXIF data. No ads, no account. Everything stays on your device.
Cleaner videos, double-checked.
Every clean video copy is now re-checked for location, date taken, camera and software before you can save or share it.
Picture quality and sound stay as they were.
Before you send a photo, check what it carries. ExifOff shows whether a photo contains location data and other metadata, then makes a new copy without it for saving or sharing.
Videos too
Pick a video to see whether it carries a location, the date taken, the camera or software — then save or share a copy without them. Picture quality and sound stay as they were.
Check before you share
- See whether location (GPS) data is found
- Check the date taken, camera, image size, original file type, and file size
Make a copy without the metadata
- Your original photo is never edited or deleted
Do many at once
- Clean up to 50 photos at a time, then save or share them together
- Works from the share sheet: share photos from Photos or another app, choose ExifOff, and share the copies straight away
Quiet by design
- Everything runs on your device
- No account, no upload, no tracking
- Free, with no ads and no subscription
Good for photos you list on marketplaces, photos of your family, or anything taken at home that you send by email, AirDrop, or file sharing.
