Walks, not numbers • Steps left now read as a walk: "A 2-minute walk to go" • Need a break? Pause the lock for 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes. It comes back on its own. • Small fixes and polish

Meet your new lock guard! • A whole new look: a new icon, new type, and a padlock mascot that walks with you and cheers when you hit your steps • Hold to promise: setup now ends with a promise to walk before you scroll • A friendlier lock screen and home screen widget • Lots of small fixes and polish

See the lock before you commit: during setup, StepGate now locks your chosen apps for a quick test so you can try opening one. Your step goal starts from your real average over the last week. The lock screen's "Go walk" button now sends your progress. And new morning and evening reminders help you get your steps in.

Polish and small fixes throughout, so StepGate stays out of your way until you've walked.

Simpler pricing: a yearly plan with 7 days free, or a weekly plan — now cheaper than before. The monthly plan is gone. • Onboarding picks up where you left off if you close the app partway through. • The paywall opens faster, and never leaves you stuck when the App Store can't be reached. • Fixed some rough edges around gating and notifications.

StepGate Plus is here — and if you were already using StepGate, it stays free for you. • StepGate Plus: gate unlimited apps, full stats and trends, and your whole streak history. Start with 7 days free. • Fixed: the blocked-app screen now shows StepGate's own screen with your steps-to-go, instead of the plain iOS "restricted" message. • Clearer: hitting your goal unlocks your apps for the rest of the day. The app used to say "4 hours" in a couple of places, which was never how it actually worked. • Removed bypass passes. They never worked on device, so they're gone rather than pretending. "Pause goal until tomorrow" is still there when you need a day off.

StepGate's App Store listing is now available in 15 more languages. The app itself is unchanged in this update.
